"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Was this respectful

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Disaster just wanted to be a jack off and he attempted to bash my head in with insults. I don't know why I don't apologize. Apologizing seems soo "nice guy-ish" to me now. I caught her in the corner of my eye looking at me in class today ( I think she was because her eyes were pointed towards my direction. Problem is, there were several people around, so it was hard to read the eye contact.)

Why would most girls think it's weird?

It's no different than any other email. This email was just me being a bit serious with her.
I don't really know enough about the situation to know whether or not you should be apologizing. I just think the email was a bad idea because it seems like it's a lot of effort for something that doesn't seem like a big deal. I just think it's weird to write an email because a girl is pissed off at you. I would just talk to the girl about it.

And it's not that you were serious in the email that was bad, I think it's the fact that it was an email. What you said to her is the kind of thing you say to her face or on the phone or something.

True. It would have been better if I were to say it to her in person. I have no problem speaking to people. I saw her today though. I guess she took the email better than I thought.
