A better observation is look at how much free time and envy the poor have. They sit around and come up with wacky conspiracy theories.

So what if these people have some weird rituals? Take a look at some of the beliefs of Christianity for example. If they were not so ingrained by now that we're not even able to look at it objectively, you'd probably think these Christian people are some crazy cult also.

Like it or not, overpopulation is the cause of almost all of the worlds problems. It's taboo in most cultures to talk about it, but from a scientific standpoint it's a law of nature that overpopulation = destruction of habitat = extinction of species.

Take a look at what happened to Easter Island if you don't understand.

There's plenty of very intelligent people that understand 1.
