"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Running out of home necessities. It's almost the weekend and there are two possible choices.

A Walmart smack in the middle of Northern Jersey aka Mexico #3 (Mexico being #1 and California being #2) or a nice little quiet overpriced CVS that's a further drive but the opposite direction.

CVS it is.

I know that Walmarts in general are pretty bad...but the one that I have no choice but to go to when desperate...is Walmart x10. Imagine waiting in the "express lane" with two obese loud ghetto b*tches and their families in front and behind you. Problem at the register...so now we've gotta wait another 5-10 minutes for a supervisor to come and fix the problem. You think to yourself... "should I jump into another line?" No. Every other line is just as packed and you've already committed a good 10 minutes waiting in this one.

People zoom in and out between you and your line mates trying to get through. These include the obese and smelly, if not the old, slow, and angry. Frustration going through the register. Afterwards, you're rewarded with the frustration of going back to your car and finding your way out of the parking lot without hitting any of these people, all who seem to not care about whether they'll get hit or not.

I've been to stores in the city and although they can be just as crowded, the high percentage of obese, angry, old, smelly, ghetto and/or any variation of these wasn't too obnoxiously overwhelming. At least in the city, people have to walk a lot to get around, which is why, I think, I've seen less obese people there.

Walmart is probably the second worst place I'd ever need to go to, with DMV being the first.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

There will be 35 checkout lanes, and three of them are open at any given time. I think all the employees are on xanax. They have to be to survive.

You're spot on. I consider a trip to Walmart like a sentencing hearing. I live in NY part of the year and FL most of the year. In NY the abundance of small business owners don't allow that slimy company near so I get to shop locally. In FL there is one walking distance from my apartment. Occasionally I fall back into the mental trap that it is worth the savings, or because they have everything. But it's in a ghetto area and serves as a melting pot for the ghetto, morbidly obese, cisgendered, and psychotic. If you go there and happen to have a job and walk with normal posture, avoid eye contact and move quickly. The employees must not fear hell because they're already there.

I have a real problem paying CVS and these pharmacies $2.03 for a 20-oz soda or $5 for a TV dinner, but I find myself doing it more and more anyway.

Walmart sucks, I quit shopping there years ago. Employees are surly and the store caters to trailer trash and obnoxious ghetto types. All the half decent people in my city shop at Target and Publix.

I quit going to Walmart mainly because of their clothing line. That George brand garbage was manufactured to fit aliens. I liked Walmart better when they carried actual name brand clothing items. These days I go elsewhere.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Im 12 miles from Walmart and I only go there if I need something after midnight when the better stores closed. It's a good place to see some toes of the camel and once in a while a decent smiley moon crack on a skank.
