"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

My brain loves being average. It tells me if my next move takes sacrifice and pain it is the wrong decision to make. It is because I suffer from the disease of being average. It influences everything I do. It keeps me from making choices that although may have some pain attached to it..IT WILL TAKE ME TO A HIGHER STATE OF MIND. The way I have learned to continue to grow even though I have this handicap is to be mindful of what my brain is doing... I use self talk like this.

" NO way...not today brain.....I didn't come all this way to ***** out"

" I am willing to trade my time money and energy to be #1"

"Everyone is the same...some people are just willing to pay the price to take their game to the next level"

I think to get in the state of mind I find I have to be a soldier in this game. I have to wage war on being average.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

When I am old in the rocking chair going back over my blogs. I want to make sure I am happy with the story that is in my blogs. I don't want to live life with regret that I was too much of a sissy to grow.

Great thread. I agree with the post.

Yes, the brain doesn't care about future payoffs. It only cares about avoiding pain and discomfort right now.
Mhm this is how I started to approach school now. Last night I was running on an hour if sleep but forced myself to study and it pays off. This is always my mentality with body building, sacrifice your body for more personal gain in the long run. I have to say a lot if people quit things because they give up, in their mind they're beaten and don't want anything badly enough to stick with it. Glad I switched my mentality a long time ago to this . A+ post

+ 1 repped...great thread. I like the title.

Just be careful with whom you share this philosophy. The vast majority of people are slaves to averageness and will hate you deeply for aspiring to anything greater.

This may include friends and family.
You are so right. Even my own dad ostrisizes me for going to the gym and eating healthy . He even gets mad when I head to the library after 8pm to study. I'm lucky to have friends who encourage me but god when I tell people what I major in they always smirk and say yeah well good luck. In other words they were slaves to the average in inadequate while im striving.

I saw a quote , when people start to dislike you then you have reached a point of sucess. People are way to jealous, instead if being supportive, and they always compare themselves to you.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Nice inspirational message - if it's helping you then great.

Since I started reading this board I've been in a lot of situations where the AFC (aka the old me) would have just reacted or done something stupid. The biggest thing I learned is to slow down and take a breath. No need to rush through life making mistakes when you can think about them.

On the other hand - if you're contemplating something like whether or not to go up and talk to a girl, you're misunderstanding my point. Check yourself in this mode, and you know that you HAVE to say something - even if you screw up - who gives a sh1t.

Unfortunately, this can be true.

It doesn't mean you should hate them back, though! Remember that no matter how successful you are, that doesn't make you inherently better than anyone else. Perhaps that bum you are talking to on the street is a future millionaire and just hasn't figured out his own life yet. Or perhaps he has a highly developed set of values and would give the shirt off his back to someone if they needed it. Treat everybody with kindness and respect- if they are jealous, hey, that's their bag.

So simple but the one thing that keeps coming up that people. Myself included...I don't push myself hard enough. There was a girl yesterday drunk rubbing boobs.on me. I will next try move that chick to my place for.drinks or somewhere to take it to the next level.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Good post, but don't hate on being average.
I know lots of good people, who through no fault of their own will never rise above being average.

Just don't be boring.

Yes, but the point is that when you are average in many regards; push yourself to become beyond average.

Those people are good people, but without any drive, will never push themselves to become more.

Demonpenz is always telling me that you're only growing when you feel uncomfortable with a situation. When you feel comfortable with life, you aren't growing. Those types of people are happy being comfortable - but that correspondingly means they won't grow to be more than average. It's not a harp on them, but a lot of what we do around this forum is on self-improvement of some form or another.

I think you can be uncomfortable and happy. I value adventure and growth more than comfortable.
