"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I looked into this and there is plenty of stuff available (esp in NYC and Philly metro areas) As someone who is 30, not a big drinker and know bars and clubs are poor places to meet women..look into this stuff. Alot of these places are only looking for 2-4 hours a MONTH!!

Remember, meeting people is all about networking, which leads to more people, etc. So, unless you have friends who are good at setting you up (mine don't, they are all selfish lol) or actually think bars are good places to meet women, ignore this posting.

I prefer to meet women in a more relaxed setting instead of hitting on a girl in a bar and then getting sucker punched in the head by some jealous drunk dude (has not happened to me, but my friend has been assaulted 2X in a bar/club for dancing with/hitting on a chick)

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

I think this could definately work and depending on the type of woman you want to meet, this could be it. When I was working @ one company in San Diego there were a couple of hotties that one night per week, would volunteer at a local school district to help students w/ their homework etc.

I would imagine the girl to guy ratio in a lot of these volunteer places is in our favor.

Are there any stats of the male/female ratios of different volunteering fields?

I was thinking of voluteering, but I would feel sort of bad about it because it would be for the wrong reason.

Ideally, I would like to want to voluteer to benefit society, but right now I would be voluteering for "self-interested" reasons. I think I'd feel like a big phony voluteering to be self-serving instead of altruistically.

I have been studying DJ techniques and I think it is against DJ style to look for places where it is easy to get the women. Trying to make ourselves better should be about getting the women where and when we want. I want to be the alpha wherever it is I am.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Volunteering is great, and certainly is good way to network and meet women, however you really should do it for the sake of helping others. If you happen to meet someone along the way, that is just a bonus.

I'm not saying you need to volunteer if that doesn't appeal to you, but that if you happen to be the type that would actually get something out of helping others you should definitely do it.

And there really are tons of ways you can help, just pick something you know and see how you can apply it in real-life situations (I am a computer programmer/administrator and volunteer with a few local non-profits some technical support service to fix their comps when they need it).

It may not be much but in my case I feel it helps me to be a more complete and rounded person, and I've had some interesting experiences along the way that make great conversation piececs.
