This is very interesting...don't know if it's cope dope in terms of the lower categories of attraction, but my experiences out there are definitely in the lower bracket throughout life. The problem is as you get older, responsiblities spike and energy level get low, there is less margin to compensate on soft skils and gymmaxxing, plus you go down on looks as you age. I'm sure the people who improved themselves were youger (ie 20s / 30s) where you get more mileage when you work-out.

I don’t know any 3-ish guys can play a “numbers game” ie score regularly in a bar/club via facing lots of rejections.*

Even a 5 guy has to minimize his approaches to stay under the radar and avoid creeping women out.

*There are some fat guys that can skate by on their physical dominance, but that’s a narrow niche.
