"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Shouldn't really beat up on him but at the same time he is a shining example of what not to do. He obviously has not tried very hard and isn't what people should aspire to. Not having a girl is one thing but he literally has NOTHING to show for his life.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

What locale is that? There are a lot of places where the cost of housing is so ridiculous that living with the parents is necessary to build up a downpayment for one's own home.
Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Yes, this city is one of the places that have tanked out as far as affordable houses are concerned. Millennials are thinking of moving out of the Greater Toronto Area altogether, but, even the prices there are too high.

He's not in jail, or locked in a re-hab center for drugs, or having to pay child-support but owes huge debts where he can get arrested for it, or dying of AIDS in a hospital bed somewhere. At least he's not stealing money from his mother or robbing people to pay for hookers. There is REAL trouble out there. If you don't have that, then even nothing can be something.

l live in Toronto too and read the same article about people planning to leave. In this city yeah, the cost of even renting now is high.
So maybe this guy lives in an expensive city and no he’s not a criminal, but he’s not taking care of himself as he should. Does he have to aim high? No. But he does have to aim, if for no other reason but out of respect and love for himself.

I'm aware he's not the scum of the earth, but he's hardly a model. He may very well be a great guy with a big heart, but he isn't an example to follow. He's 37 years old, when is he going to get moving? Sometimes **** happens and you need to make drastic changes in your life, such as a career change, and this might require you to start over. Some people are late bloomers and things only click later on in life....it's not clicking for this guy and frankly it doesn't seem like he's doing anything at all. He has been unemployed for close to a decade and is obese...at 37 it should've already dawned on you if you are in a similar position that you need to get your **** in order. You're not 22, or even 27, but 37.......the majority of the people he grew up with are married with kids and settled into their careers. The window is close to shutting for this guy unless he makes HUGE strides.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

You can be a deadbeat or an ugly/fat guy but you cant be both if you want any intimacy from women.

Regarding that guy, in the current hypergamic scenario even a middle class job wont get him any sex with a remotely good looking girl.

What he would get a 37 with that face and body in terms of females right now is probably something I wouldnt touch with a stick...wheter he works or not.

This bro is not ugly, he just has a lot of work to do on himself; which will not be easy. Not even a tub of lard single mother would touch him. Why should she, she has other men who actually have jobs chasing her for sex anyway (weird, I know).

1) Go KETO or go home for weight loss. At his size, he'd prob. lose 4 - 5 pounds a week at the beginning.
2) Enroll in a trade school, apprenticeship or go back to college.
3) Exercise by simply starting out by walking around his town.
4) Stop feeling sorry for himself and blaming others. It's his fault.
5) Get a side hustle while completing # 2 so he can start earning some money and move out of his mommy's wing.

Someone should post a link to this thread on the video. Maybe he'd get a clue.

There's multiple issues at play here and both sides of the argument has valid points.

Regardless of him having a job or his own place, with such passivity, it's unlikely he'd attract any women. That's a fact.

As for him being with his mom/parents, I find nothing wrong in that, many in Asia live with their parents because it's an expected responsibility to care and protect them into their old age.

However he needs to pull himself out of that situation - cutting the umbilical cord with his mother and get any sort of job.

In order for anyone to have any respect for him, he 1st needs to respect himself.

This isn't Asia. This is the United States. At 37, w/o a disability it's embarrassing. His only disability is that he's lazy.

Says the man who's not fvcking in NYC but has plenty of advice on women.

Can I say that u r lazy too?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Here in Toronto there many Asians and Italians that live with their parents well into adulthood because it’s part of the culture but people still look down on it because the mainstream culture is get out and make you own way as soon as you can, even if it means renting a basement apt with two other people.
This guy lives in the US and it’s looked down upon to still be living at home at his age because that’s the mainstream culture in the US.
It may not be fair to be seen that way but it doesn’t change the fact that he is seen that way.
He’s probably a nice enough guy but he’s a hard sell in his current situation and appearance. That’s the reality whether it’s fair or not.
We could all make a zillion excuses for his situation but none of it is going to land a hot girl, or any girl, on his lap because he doesn’t get to decide what his SMV is, women do, and he ain’t got none.

I do not dispute what u r saying.

It's his inherent passive personality coupled with his upbringing that has landed him in such a situation.

It's a 2 pronged problem he's facing and it needs a 2 pronged approach.
