Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.
Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.
Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.
The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
hahahahha, that's brilliant...!squirrels said:I remember one time I went on a double-date with a buddy of mine (just winging for him really) and the other girl started going off about her lofty expectation for a guy. I probably should've been better-calibrated, but I wasn't feeling her really, so I just came straight out with it..."So what makes YOU deserving of such an awesome guy??" You could tell she was in shock that I'd even question that...after a short pause, she returned with something cheesy like, "Because I'd take CARE of MY man!". Which of course implied sexual favors. Women are like real-estate flippers...they refuse to believe what they're selling isn't worth a fortune.
Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
Well, they always say confidence is sexy, and you don't get much more confident than this. Problem is, this reaches the level of arrogance. But don't women usually end up doing the choosing anyway?"If you see me, or another model, in a bar wait until you are spoken too before you speak,”
Based on what, I wonder? If the guys aren't allowed to speak to her, I guess she will approach a guy based totally on looks? And the vibe the guy is putting off, I suppose.“If we are interested in you we will make the first move," she says.
Interesting bit by Adam Corollo. I've seen this idea espoused before: Be a type. Be a type of guy women fantasize about. Don't just be an average guy, a middle of the road guy. Make some sort of statement. And it also reminds me of peacocking. Look at Mystery's fuzzy hat. What kind of type is Adam Corollo supposed to be though? He seems to dress fairly normal.Rollo Tomassi said:Have a Look
He's the celebrity type.zekko said:What kind of type is Adam Corollo supposed to be though? He seems to dress fairly normal.
I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
backbreaker said:it's alot like, a kid and his first car. when he's 15 years old,k he has all these demands for his first car. for me, I had to have a maroon 2001 eclipse, manual transmission with a sunroof.
then, when you are stuck, with a 10 year old toyota, you are happy.
and not only that, and i mean this witih all honesty, women with those types of demands without understanding that they have to bring something to the table besides being very ****able, honestly, don't do anything for me. way too high mainteince and take away from other aspects of life. givfe me a very cute down to earth hb 7-8 who understands what it means to be a woman any day of the week over that.
You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.
Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.
She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.
Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
most guys don't have the balls to approach a woman that hot.Zarky said:I agree you shouldn't take women's advice on how to pick up women.
However, if you put yourself in a beautiful woman's shoes for a moment, imagine the daily ordeal of having 100 dudes every hour trying to get with you. So I can fully understand why they would try to preemptively shut down 99.9999% of men from hitting on them.
Imagine if every fugly chick within eyesight made clumsy attempts to "open" you and get your phone number everywhere you went and no matter what you were doing. It might be entertaining for a week, but after that you'd just want to get your sh1t done when you were out rather than having to engage with women you had absolutely no interest in whatsoever.
Such is the life of a model. When half of all dudes who see you hit on you, you get jaded pretty quick. I can't even imagine what that would be like. Even average and below-average women get hit on more in a year than any guy here gets hit on in a lifetime.
There's some truth to this...this is only one side of the story, though. It's not generally that clear, that "they just don't get approached". They DO get approached, just not under the circumstances they care to.backbreaker said:most guys don't have the balls to approach a woman that hot.
while they aren't at home watching movies on Saturdays, they don't get approached as much as you think. hell guys have trouble approaching a woman at the library let alone a bonified model.
in fact, that's EXACTLY what would get one of these broads lol, a guy saying look, okay you are good looking, and still approach her like a regular woman with the confidence of someone who doesn't give a **** if she says yes or no.
this attitude, just comes from being told how beautiful they are and by their profession, not from being approached time and time again in
back when i first got some plates when i was 21, the heat played the pistons in little rock pre season game. all the heat cheerleaders went to this club called called discovery. i had no idea, but i went there every saturday night.; so I am in ther and there is this group of like 10 smokin hot women together and all these dudes just looking at them, so i asked one of them lol, who the hell are you guys. they told me. now, a combination of being pretty tispy, this site, and already having like 4 plates and just ****ing off, i mean what's the worse that can happen?, i found the one i was the most attracted to, a short haired brunette, and i grabbed her and just said look we are going to dance lol. she laughed and said okay. we hit it off pretty well, she introduced me to her friends, all of them were pretty cool, just, good looking women who happened to be cheerleaders.
long story short, their hotel happened to be a few blocks from my apartment, maybe 4 miles, i took her home, she spent the night, dropped her off in the morning. cool as ****. just, no one would talk to them lol.; we even went to the waffle house before going home. and the few that did, came t them like tey were goddesses or something who should be worshiped rather than women who were looking to have a good time
She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
