VERIZON and Tmobile interviews....help

Ive worked retail with radioshack for a year now, selling sprint and verizon phones...
I got tired with the 5.15 and hour plus commision pay so I started to apply with those high commission companies

My first choice was cingular since they pay for 2 phones on every month for employees
I had an interview with a store manager then i had another one with a regional manager...
but that manger told me to call next week..?

I called and they told me they haven't made a decision yet.


Its been about 2 months since the interview and all im getting is voice messages, and i keep saying on there voice mail.. pls contact me if you have made a decision yet... and they never call


Now... My inside contacts came through for me with verizon and tmobile and I scheduled an interview with them in a few days..
I really would like to do well on these interviews... If any of you guys have some interview tips that have worked for you.. I would greatly appreciate it.

Getting in with verizonwireless is like being set for life... or tmobile..
If u worked for any cellphone company i need your help.. much obliged

fyi, I think i got the dress part down.. Ive been dressing like a banker for the last few days..lol

Alright.. since the interview is tomorrow ive been doin some research on my own...

Since it takes a little bit to get some boring threads started... I'll share some things i will do tomorrow


1. Everyone feels nervous when goin into an interview... One thing to try is to take deep slow breaths from your nose and focus on your breath. Focus on breathing in, pause then slowly breath out concentrating your each moment breathing . Watch your stomach go toward your spin. Then a pause when all the air is out..

2. Interviewers and employers are nervious about you... Yes you... its like a first date..
Put your best foot forward.. always... no time to be truely honest with yourself... If the guy says... are you late to work... the answer is.... NO!!!!! Rarely ever late to work... then go into how you set goals.

3. Interviewers want facts, not generalizations... if you say im a very competitive and honest worker... they will fall asleep on you... Talk facts... talk examples, with conclusions.

4. Interviewers want numbers... How many did you manage, how much did you sell... but never mention salary numbers...

I had the interview today... well

thanks to barnes and noble free reading time,

I was able to secure a second interview with verizon corporation...

If I play my game tight, I may be able to secure this awesome job..


Come holla if u got some beef on the second interview..

Fyi..LOL my own personal thread... I Don't care if im just talking to myself.. Im not scared of ya'll... I DON"T CARE... HAHAHAHHA, You don't have to like me... I don't care what you think of me... HAHHAHA..
