"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

What causes the veins to "pop" when working out?

Is there anything I can do to stop it from occuring? It doesn't hurt or anything like that, but it feels weird as hell.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

It feels weird because my vein feels like it's popping out of its place.

So are you referring to vascularity??? Workerouter explained it perfectly, it's nothing to worry about and if youre pushing your body like that in exercise, then it's going to happen along other changes to your body.

You mean your wain goes out of it's place and makes those bumps?

I've had this only once on bicep. My vein just curled and ther were almost pea sized bumps on it. I rubbed it a little and it straighted out. Did feel weird yes.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Yeah, I kinda freaked out when I saw that, but straightened the vein and it didn't do any harm...

When I read the topic of this thread I though someone's vein was really POPPING. I mean exploding !

Yeah, it was just some tickling sensation, primarily in my right forearm. It feels like it's popping out, but when I look at it when this is occuring, I don't see anything abnormal.

Alright, thanks everyone.

eax5,

Actually, my most "veinyist" area is on my feet....

It's kinda disturbing to look at it, but then, it's kinda cool. I dunno, I'm a crzy motherfùcker. :D

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
