Vasectomy

Hi everyone, hope all is well.

I was just wondering if anyone here has had a vasectomy and if so, why did you do it and are you still glad you did?

And if you're comfortable sharing...how much did it all cost?

We are supposedly only a few years away from male "birth control" pills. I have heard some bad things about vasectomy's and that is too bad since I would do one in an instant if they were cheap/fast/had little side effects. Getting a woman pregnant would just ruin me and having sex with women without the fear of getting her preggers is so much better.

Male birth control pills sound awesome. I really despise the idea of having any surgical procedures done to my body. And the idea of some doctor chopping away at my most prized possessions is rather alarming.
