"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

i've never been good at maintaining a LTR...so give me some good answers....went out with girl for about 6 months, broke up for around 6 months....started talking and f*cking again bout 2 weeks ago. I don't want to mess this up this time. sooo

how often should I call? we've been talking everyday, spending the night with each other about every other day....is this a good pattern, or should I slow this down?

should I bring up dating exclusively if I want to? Or should I just let it happen?

how can I keep it unpredictable?

keep in mind i really like this girl and want it to work, so what i'm asking is basically how to remain a challenge for an "in-demand" girl. she's definitely got other guys interested in her all the time.......
i've always been able to hook girls quickly, but not hold onto them.....you can tell, a little afc is leaking out of me, but this girl does it for me completely. i know i shouldn't let her know how i feel just yet, so help me out please.

and please no posts like "f*ck her, she's just another ****"

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Stop talking every day - BAD.
You are seeing her way too much - BAD.

You let her bring up exclusivity. Until then don't be exclusive - go out and be your own person and meet new people.

You keep things unpredictable by getting a life of your own that is exciting to you without her - and then you can bring into it for extra fun.

her comments on why we broke up (******** at its finest):

we had some differences (i agree), i needed to grow up (?), she knew i had some "being wild" to get out of my system, she was extremely stressed, etc.

my views on why we broke up:

i was new in town and became completely needy and clingy to her, we were together everyday and it all got predictable and boring, she lost interest. I kinda pulled away first, then she pulled back, and I turned embarrassingly AFC. big time...

Basically there's chemistry there, we have a lot in common, but I wussed completely out last time, and I'm trying to avoid that this time around. I think I'm gonna go out with the chick that cuts my hair, to get rid of this one-itis.

I know talking everyday is bad, but she does most of the calling....

eh, don't try to hold onto it or be unpredictable

just live your life and have your fun, and she'll want to come along
there's something in that, more than you know
and if she's in demand and comes around to you, something's working

relax - let it happen

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

If you know her so well, you can start to guess what she is expecting of you within each moment. Then, you can give her something a little different than what she was expecting. Don't be predictable.
