“The 22 Psychological Triggers That Make Women Chase You… Starting Tonight”

Forget the cash, the cars, and the chiseled jawlines. Female desire operates on a completely different frequency. Primal. Subconscious. Triggers that bypass her logic and hit her on a gut level. Most guys are totally blind to them.

I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.

Then I decoded the psychology behind what actually makes women tick. 22 hard rules.  Subtle behavioral shifts that rewired my entire reality. The anxiety evaporated. Women started leaning in. Investing. Chasing.

I know the movie is supposed to based off of the Conservative Thatcher administration, but Britain is becoming more of a progressive Nanny State, not the other way around.

Owning a gun is considered illegal, even for rank-and-file and policemen. (the Tony Martin case, where Martin was tried for murder for shooting a burglar who had invaded his home). The courts focuses more on rehabilitation of criminals rather than punishment and deterrence. London is heavily surveillenced. Blair is pushing for a national identification cards. Political correctness seems to be the norm (here in the US as well)

I know I should have expected it to attack conservative ideology (coming from hollywood), but its hard to relate to the current situation of the UK.

I may be talking out of my ass, so maybe some of our UK members could provide some insight

I saw it last night- It was actually a pretty good movie. However, despite all its intentions, it argued more for the War in Iraq (which it tried to peg as the cause of the scenario) than against it. You'll understand when you see it.

And the Chancellor reminded me a LOT more of Hitler than of old Maggie.

I have no idea about British's politics but let's not forget V for Vendetta was published in the late 1980's. It has nothing to do with the present.

V for Vendetta is probably one of my favorite movies. The anti-Bush stuff is mostly added in by the script writers. It is based on a hypothetical situation crafted in a book in the late 1980's criticzing the English leadership. But everybody nowadays has to put politcal propoganda into their movies.

All in all, if you look past the references to current politics, it is a good movie. Hell, any movie where they blow up the Parliament Building to the tune of the 1812 overture has to be amazing.

I saw the movie last night and i must say I was very dissapointed. Another typical attempt to allegorize the failures of the Bush administration.

IMO, after seeing the movie, I felt patronized. Im not stupid, I know Bush is a big joke, and I dont need some pseudo-philosphical symbolism to remind me.

Im not all worried about Bush ever becoming a tyrant, he has no power, he cant even control his own White House, he's just become another lame duck president.

I hated the boo-hoo for Muslims and Gays. How many times do I need to be told that Gays and Muslims are being persecuted. I look around, I see no such hatred. Its more like Gays and Muslims hating on others for not accepting their lifestyles.

All I wanted was classic 1984, and what I got was Farenheit 9/11: Reloaded:down:

hollywood itself is controlled by the stablishment. Left/right is all the same, their strings pulled by the same puppet masters.

www.infowars.com (interesting site exposes the stablishment)

What the hell is wrong with some of you? Of course it will parallel the Bush Admin because that's the thing to do nowadays but don't think for a second it's just making fun of the current gov't. It stayed pretty faithful to the book and the book was written inthe early 80's, before any of the Bush gov'ts came into power. It was supposed to be written as if Germany won world war II and was modelled after the real Gunpowder Plot. You can ***** about it being a tool for the left wing(Fascism is left wing BTW which is what V for Vendetta is centered on) but unless Moore had a time machine, you are drawing more conclusions than there are in the movie.

Just wondering, why cant we talk politics?
Political discussions have been banned from the forum because we have found that it can not be discussed rationally among the posters.

As much as I would like to see a discussion of this movie, I'm afraid that because it is filled with political topics (totalitarianism(sp), corruption...ect) that it can not be discussed here in a civil manner.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.
