Using Magic for PU..among other things

Hey guys just wanted to see if i could get some input on this.

For a few years now i have been interested in street magic..mainly using coins, cards, cigarettes..etc. I used to know a guy who could do some pretty crazy stuff and i sort of used him as an inspiration to see if i could become somewhat successful in that area.

I also have a few books on cards and coins and others..and i have found that some of the stuff could be a potential icebreaker..especially with Cold PU's on the street or whereever. I also sense that there is a balance to be maintained and not go overboard with your performances....since it will make you look like some sort of a street urchin and attention freak lol.

I can perfrom a few tricks with ease and am currently practicing some others in order to build up my repertoire. What do you guys think of this in terms of doing PU's? Im really interested in the social aspect of the art, as all good magicians have exceptional charisma and are instantly THE MAN...for example i saw this one guy at the bar who made a girl write her name on a five dollar bill..tear it up in pieces..made the whole thing dissapear..and reappear in the bottom of an empty beer bottle! Yeah needless to say..all the attention was now on him.

What do you guys think of this? Is using certain skills like this a crutch and a substitute? Personally i dont think so..if anything it enhances your ability to approach girls, as using this requires a lot of social skills, such as the ability to direct people through your words, misdirection, etc. I think that any skill would be handy, hell if you are great karaoke singer then use it to your advantage.

Id appreciate any advice for a novice magician in the making such as myself, or any thoughts on this subject.

A crutch? Who cares. Use what works. Reading palms, analyzing handwriting, magic tricks, they can all work. Don't overuse them though.

I do that now, with my gf's siblings.. they love it. They look forward to seeing me so I can show them more magic. It's cool. Never tried it on chics though, I'm sure it works if done at the right time. Just be careful not to come off as a cheap entertainer for a party.

You're talking about two seperate things, attraction and entertainment. Doing tricks for somebody is entertaining. Attraction is already there, or it's not. The girls that you had sex with 'because' of this magic, were attracted to you, and would have fvcked you anyway had you been just as outgoing as you are in 'performer mode'.

If doing magic tricks helps you to insert yourself into a social situation, then do ya' thing...but keep in mind that's not the tricks that are getting you laid - it's everything that's going on in her mind. You're just creating a circumstance where it's convenient and comfortable to act on her desires.

I do it all the time, and it has never gotten any negative responses. Everyone likes magic, and it does wonders for the reputation. You have to do it as though you're not trying to gain anything more from it than just a mere shock response. It has to be non-chalant, and defintely close-up tricks work the best.

It's not about getting a girl to sleep with you, it's about leaving people wondering about you and generating mystery and creating an aura.
