I recently starting see this chick and she's a little shy and uptight. we went to the movies last night and i was practically leaning on top of her hoping that she woudl reciprocrate so i could hold her hand...she did nothing. sat in the middle of the seat, purse in her lap, hands clenching it the entire time. she has the personality of a wet sponge, but i remember her telling me she is really shy at first, so im giving her the benefit of the doubt. What can I do to bring this chick out of this mindset? I even tried putting my hand on her back/sorta putting my arm around her when we were walking in the parking lot on the way out...no reaction, not good or bad.
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.
