"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Ok, as I have previously stated, A female friend of mine, who is "engaged" (and I use the term VERY loosley) asked me to come over and spend the night @ her parents place.

Well I did, and we talked awhile. She wanted my opinion on her relationshio w/ her boyfriend. I told her, right away, my opinion is completely biased, because I also like her, and she said "It doesn't matter, your important is 2nd only to my parents". I told her her bf is controlling, overbearing and proposed to salavage the relationship (she was going to dump him then he proposed, and they had sex for their first time). She said thats the same thing she was thinking but she has no idea what to do. I told her to do what she feels is right. Well, being i didn't want her depressed we started poking fun at each other and her style of music. Then she started making fun of my fav football team (even though she doesn't watch football) so we got into a lil tickle fight. Eventually we rented movies. We began the movies in two different chairs.. (she was in a chair, I was on her couch). Then after she talked to her bf to say that she is still alive, she sat next to me, about 5 feet or so away. My feet were on the footstool. She snuck her feet inbetween mine. Eventually we were close together by the end of the first movie sharing a blanket. Then we started the second movie. she stole my spot so I layed on her butt.

I noticed, out of the corner of my eye, she was looking at me and smiling. When I turned to her, she looked forward and I said "something the matter." she just smiled and said "nope". This happened twice during the 2nd movie (which only lasted 45 minutes because Blockbuster gave us a bad DVD!!!).

Now here is my new question, should I recommend forcefully that she leave her "fiance", should I just let it go and stick by her (as I have been doing) or should I forget about her?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

yeah u got a real dillemma there... i say if u really like her that much or love her a lot u should just say that she should dump his ass.
If its true that she was going to brake up with him bvefore he axed her to marry then i really think u should tell her to brak up with him cuz marriage isent something to be used to save a relationship it will only further ruin it... marriage is supposed to happen when both are mad in love with eachother and whant to take the next step but these women these days say yes to basicly anyone just so they can have a wedding.... stupid...

anywho I really think u should explain to her that if they need to get married to save their relationship then they shouldnt even be together...

hope that helps man =)

Mistake #1: No woman should ever be important to you unless she has at the very least given you head.

Mistake #2: Women don't think on logic when men are involved. It's why you shouldn't take their advice!

Good! This is what we like to hear.

(Side note: the word "lil" is not generally a term that alpha males use)

Mistake #3: Not turning around and walking out the door. This is a clear disrespect to you. Any woman should never talk on the phone (or text) to anyone else while with you.

This seems to be okay.

If ever you were going to try to kiss her, now was the time.

FORGET HER! Just cut her off completely. She won't like it, but who cares what she thinks when she doesn't care what YOU think!

For the sake of mankind, do it. Let this ho get married and stay out of the dating game to save the rest of us!

Just to clear something up on one and three, she said I was important to HER, I never said she was "important" to me.. I just said I like her.

And #3, she did leave the room. I shoulda mentioned that.

Yeah... thats what I;m trying to do... she is going to his place this weekend to "talk to him" about everything... I'll probably call her thursday night with last words of encouragement on "If you are going to break up, and feel yourself back out again, give me a call..."

Edit: Oh and if she gets off the 22nd-24th from work she is coming to my place for the weekend (I said I was going home to my rents house (which is something she previously expressed interest in joining me in) and I said "hey you can come if you want, I'll be going down that weekend" and now she has to wait for he work schedule (she can't request anymore days off this month.. she already request a week-off to goto a family wedding last week).)
