"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

So 3 of my friends and I liked the same girl. We didn't tell each other we liked her because we didn't want to compete with other and if we told then we'd all have to let her go. Instead we had an unspoken cometition for her. Anyways one of them won like five months ago.

In the process of getting to know the girl (I was a really big AFC compared to now) I asked her what was the biggest trait she wanted in a boyfriend. Like most girls she said she wanted someone who was nice. I, like an idiot, listened to her and was nice every time I was around her. Turns she subconsiously prefares the a**hole.

The main reason I am pissed off is becasue today I found out my friend cheated on the girl. I still love my friend like a brother but I dunno this really bothers me. Not only becasue he was disloyal to a great girl but becasue she should be my girlfriend!

I know this os a pointless thread but I needed to let off some steam. I just feel that is that girl really and truly knew me inside and out I'd have won, becasue I think I am truly a great person. ITS JUST SO FRUSTRATING

Sorry for wasting your time.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

And you are complaining because...???

She's single now...whereas before, she wasn't. Right? Unless he cheated without her knowing...

Anyways, stop thinking about the past (what you could've done), and focus on the NOW. You can't change the past, only the future. What can you do NOW to make yourself happy?

Oh, and the age old advice for girls applies to your friend as well: love him (not sexually of course) or leave him.

luck!

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
