UK super pimp gets life!

Story on the news today. This guy, looked about 30ish, average to reasonable looking got at least 6 women to give up all their money to him and get more money off family for him.

One women left her husband for him 6 months after the wedding.

Another women he got to live on the street for a week and only had a Mars bar to live on.

How did he do it? Well at first usual stuff, charm, interest, most of these birds where somewhat plain Janes. Very soon he had them and started spinning a yarn about working for MI5 and would she like to help him, in real True Lies style.

He did this for 10 years! The cops weren't interested but in the end they got him on two counts of kidknapping.

He got two life sentences, which i thought was a bit harsh myself.

I think it's harsh. I mean the women were dumb enough to fall for it... I may not agree with some of his actions but I give him props for having the skills to pull that off.

No doubt he will write a book. It's interesting that the views of most posters is quite positive toward the guy.

What's more scary is there are 1000s of blokes out their doing the same thing, just more clever. He got greedy and went too far.

I bet you he gets his sentence commuted, mental illness or something. He will do well in prison too, in the Jeffrey Archer mold.

Well, he must have been quite adept at whatever he was doing, so good for him at being so successful. That doesn't take away the fact that he's an evil bastard and should be in jail, but it's still amazing.

He's no different from the millions of Nigerian scammers, thieves, scammers, etc.

They all appeal to our immediate emotions and general stupidity. Whether by seducing us, lying to us, cheating us out of money, etc.

That UK guy was no pimp, he was a CON ARTIST

I saw a story on an CON ARTIST on tv that did the same thing over here in america. He romanced older women (he himself was in his 50's) and took their money. He claimed he was a music mogul, owned a ranch with cattle, had a construction company, all kinds of stuff. I don't know if you can call the guy above a pimp. He took money from poor old grandmas and left them ruined.

There is a difference between a guy who pimps some college girls and gets them to buy him gifts and stuff, after all they're just a bunch of hors, to some con artists lying to old ladies looking for a man for companionship in their final years and robbing them of their lifes savings.
