The UFC is fixing fights. They fixed the Khamza vs Gerald fight. Who da fuq circles into the power hand of Khamza ( or anyones power hand). I dont fight professionally but that was a total rookie move. No jabs, he didn't even keep with hands next to his chin. I only train a couple times a week and even I know that.

The Izzy vs Costa fight is definitely fixed. There is no way that punch that dropped Costa actually hit him. There is also no way that Costa didn't know that Izzy was going to try to snipe with leg kicks esp after Romero.

The Cowboy vs McGregor fight was definately fixed esp after the Niko Price fight. Cowboy will NEVER quit from non orbital bone breaking shoulders ( Cowboy says he didn't break his orbital but yet the UFC says he did....wtf) Why the discrepancy? Come on man. Dont be naive guys. The UFC is entertainment BUSINESS> fighting is secondary.

It wouldn’t be shocking if it was. I’m a big ufc fan but I’m also not naive to what you’re saying.

it’s all about turning a dollar at the end of the day. These are just large corporations.

Let’s say the Izzy/Costa fight was fixed though. Yeah you can say UFC wanted to make Izzy look amazing, but they could’ve at least made it look more believable. Have Costa look more respectable. Costa isn’t some sort of chump.

ufc 253 was brutal though. 2-3 good fights and that was about it for the entire night

The owners of the UFC is what I am referring to as "they". My argument is that we know that Pride MMA and Boxing fix fights. Fight fixing is not uncommon. Why would be believe that the UFC is above fixing fights. We know for a fact that the UFC strongly "pressures" fighters to keep the fight standing. They have even fired fighters with winning records for fighting too boring a style ( wrestling).

They fired Jon Fitch even though he was doing well because he was a "boring" wrestler. They almost fired Colby Covington for his wrestling style. We also know that Conor McGregor and Donald Cerrone was definitely fixed. That one was obvious.

Im not a Costa fan but when a fighter totally changes a style he has fought with his ENTIRE career its very suspicious. Costa took BOMBS from Yoel Romero for 3 whole rounds and never was knocked out. Izzy was afraid of Yoels power so much that he didn't engage with Yoel more than once. So how in the world can Costa get TKO'ed by Izzy when Izzy could not even hurt Romero???

Its also suspicious that Costa's team has not come out to make any statements about what went wrong tactically. No post fight pressure talk or anything. Costa can barely speak English and is not as marketable as Izzy so I understand why they want to push him.

I would not have minded if the fight was a good fight and Izzy won fair and square but this is suspect to the core.

Hey man I applaud you for being open minded and not naive. The fight is believable to the sheep. It is believable enough that most people are not questioning it at all. They are raving about how great Izzy is. It looks believable to naive people. If this was real Costa's team would have thoroughly anticipated a long range fighter. Costa's team supposedly brought in long range fighters similar to Izzy. Yet Costa looks like a deer in headlights in the real fight?

When a fighter gets frustrated they resort back to what is natural to them. What is natural to Costa is blitzing in throwing power shots. Costa didn't do the ONE thing that is most natural to him?? I call bs.

I am even suspecting that the Romero fight was fixed. There were multiple times when Romero let Izzy slide off the cage and didn't engage even when he had him cornered. So thats 2 suspect fights in a row.....hmmmmm

When a fight is real there is no debate. Its like pornography. You will know it when you see it. That Reyes vs Jan fight looked real. So did the Jones vs Reyes fight. Even the Whittaker vs Izzy fight looked real etc.....

And most fights that are fixed end in a lopsided manner. They hardly ever make the other guy look good in a fixed fight. The point of a fixed fight is to make one guy look super human. Connor vs Cerrone....they made Cerrone look like a sissy. Look at Gerald vs Khamzat. They made Gerald look like a sissy. Its too risky to have a long protracted war. For one, the guy who is supposed to lose could accidentally win in a long war. Secondly, its more chances to make a mistake and more chances for it to look fake. Thirdly, why should the fixed guy take unnecessary damage when he knows he will lose anyway. Look up the career of Bob Sapp.

PS Cerrone is a gangsta to the Core. Cerrone will fight with half of his face hanging off. This was a guy that went toe to toe with legends and didn't quit. He arm barred Mike Perry as soon as his back hit the ground.....yet he didn't even do any Ju Jitsu on Conor? He curled up in a ball????? And Conor hurt Cerrone with his SHOULDERS:rofl: omg. Look at Cerrones latest fight with Price. Look at how gangsta that was. Cerrone is a dog. Does that look even remotely close to the same fighter that fought Conor? Hell naw......Cerrone had multiple times to do his classic double leg on Conor but disengaged. Man this makes me mad just talking about this. Everything in this world is corrupt.

I know a long time martial arts practitioner (competition, a striker) and he's never mentioned fight-fixing. We talk almost weekly about the upcoming fights. He mainly talks about his bets, his interest is betting on an app. I'll ask him about fight-fixing this week. It never crosses my mind cause you look at the prelims, then the main card, and those dudes Want to rise in rank and are going after it Very hard trying to kill each other (though measuring their efforts so as not to gas). Costa probably was weakened by the weight cut (did he miss weight?) plus he may not be able to juice anymore because of USADA. Gastelum almost beat Izzy but he gassed. Was that fight fake? um no. I think all fights are real and washed-up Cowboy had no business fighting young and still viable Conor. It was supposed to be a tune-up fight for Conor. I don't think a guy like Thug Nasty is participating in rigged fights. I don't think he ever would either, be in on any fixing Ever. They'd have to target a select few to fix a fight. These dudes have trainers to pay, fight camps to pay off, other expenses. They sacrifice hours on end to rise in rank. I don't think ANY fixing is going on.

The moon landings...operation mockingbird is a different story though. Certainly a FIX 6 times in a row. We do not have the technology to travel that far and land and reconnect that easily even today. And they scrapped the technology and reels and data from 1969 - 1972? Since WHEN does any technological advance ever not get preserved? for historical future reference? We still use B-52 bombers today, because it Works. TOTALLY a scam and people resisted evidence that they've been hookwinked until their dying days. No one wants to think himself a fool. But Billions of humans have been fooled on this one, fo sho.

Hey man i respect that point of view. But just becuz its fixed doesnt mean that they fix guy doesnt get paid. They get paid handsomely. What do you think about the Pride fights ( japan) being fixed. Many of the promotions in japan and russia are fixed. Its been confirmed. Do you agree that boxing is fixed sometimes?

Oh okay so Pride and Boxing are fixed but UFC is totally above that. Why? Becuz Dana White and the Fretitta brothers are so honorable. People that gained wealth from co owing casinos with the Las Vegas Italian Mob. Makes sense brother =)

Fixed to me means the fighters are in on the act. And there is no way these guys are capable of being actors as well as fighters. Having said that, it is fairly easy to make matchups in which the outcome is almost certain, due to skill imbalances between the two fighters.
