"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

For you as a rider.

There are two pools of drivers, premium class and trash. Several classes of riders, lowest being trash, highest being rich VIPs. It does not matter who you are, if you don't follow rules, as a rider, you will be downgraded to trash level and you will be lucky to get a trash ride, if available.

Uber has filters, rider rating filter for example. It goes from 4.0 to 4.9 stars. Most drivers ride with 4.9 filter, because anything bellow is bull ****. Frankly, I am a 5.0 star rider and as a driver I know it takes effort to get low rating.

1. No pets. No service dogs. If you want to drive a pet, there is a special service called Uber Pet, use it. If you call regular Uber, you are getting a 1 star rating, along with separate negative feedback, and a possible safety report (if you decide to hide from your driver and ambush him, so that he don't see you). You will have lowest star rating, guaranteed, and safety flags and negative feedback on your account. Don't do it.

2. No food, no drink. This one is simple. If you pig inside a car, driver won't call it out, but you are getting a 1 star for cleanliness and possibly separate negative feedback for future reference. Drivers spent their own money for supplies and clean their cars inside and outside, daily. There is zero tolerance for such bull**** behavior.

3. No vape. Vape gets driver high and this feeling can linger on for the rest of the shift. Even if you just hold it in your hand, you are getting downgraded. This is serious. It's a 1 star rating and a possible safety report, especially if your presence made driver feel dizzy. This can deactivate your account.

4. Setting boundaries and claiming space, generally being territorial. You are inside, often a $4 or so buck fair, ride. You begin claiming space, listening to your own music while car stereo is playing, asking to add air, asking for more leg room, whatever. That bull**** territorial behavior gets you 1 star rating -- for safety. You are getting 1 star for disrespect. Anything you try to pull afterwards, like a low rating, which you are a high risk of at this point, is bull**** and retaliatory and will be filtered automatically.

5. Being rude or disrespectful. Talking bad about the ride. Farting. Any sign of disrespect at all. Even not talking and having a stick up your butt. Anything interpreted as possible low rating gets you a 1 star rating. Again, this is for safety. You can't pull anything after this, your rating simply won't count. Leaving a tip won't help either, drivers don't look at tips while working. Your rating is instant, right when the ride is over.

6. Setting pins at corners. This is a red flag. It means you are trying to ambush -- possibly. Possibly you have an animal. Driver will be cautions and might cancel. We can do something called rider no show. We can hide from you and let the timer run, you will be charged. But also, this behavior is dangerous and you can get a fair and well earned safety report.

7. Setting pins at unusual places. For example a city plaza, and people are usually picked up right in the middle, some at the front, and you set your pin way down the road, near valet, near parking garage. RED flag. It means you are trying to sneak from behind. Probably have a service animal or some other bull**** like that. 1 star if the ride happens. But chances are high you will be cancelled.

8. Not putting your bags inside trunk. If you have bags and driver asks you to put bags inside trunk, do it... Bags are a source of food and drink. You will be downgraded at the end of your trip, guaranteed.

9. Cloying. Perfume and cologne, especially cheap one, needs time to open up, usually 15 to 20 minutes. You can not just put it on and jump inside Uber. You will get 1 star rating for cleanliness.

10. Being dirty. Smelling bad. This is uncommon, but poor people do it, and rich people manage to do it. We not talking after work smelling bad type of deal here, it's just bad odor which makes driver crank up windows.

11. Don't slam doors. Doors must close easily and without sound. Slamming doors is bad. Push it gently, and make sure it's closed.

12. At airport, all luggage goes to trunk. Driver does not have to take your **** inside interior. You can not demand something being taken inside. If it don't fit, cancel the ride, order something else. Riders make a mistake of assuming that if it don't fit inside trunk, they have this special right to take it with them inside cabin. NO. If ride does happen, you will be downgraded to 1 star just for the kicks of it.

13. Don't ever open front door. Yes you can ride in the front, in fact it's better than in the back, because we can control you better. However, you never open front door. You should ask politely if you can ride in the front by gesturing to lower the window or opening rear door.

14. Bull**** call to publix or some other supermarket, or mac donalds, or burger king gets you 1 star rating -- if ride happens. Often, driver will not open doors for you and just wait the timer out and charge for no show, end of story. We don't have to take your **** food or groceries, that's uber policy, nothing you can do, nothing you can complain about.

15. Not being at the pin. Asking to find you. You suppose to be at the pin. If you're not at the pin that's a red flag. You're ****ing drunk. You're a risk of mess inside car. Plus your fair is most likely ****. You will get cancelled. If for some miracle ride does happen, 1 star rating for making driver wait.

16. Don't record audio, don't set PIN. It makes you give that insta dumb ass clown rider vibe. 1 star rating at random here, depending on the general vibe from you. Mostly for safety.

17. General Vibe. Drivers rate on risk, respect, cleanliness, compliance, attitude. If you give future problem vibe, or rate you low vibe, you are at risk of receiving low rating, for safety. You have to realize that drivers do hundreds of rides and interact with hundreds of people within very short period of time. Drivers are good psychologists. If you give off that fake or phony vibe, you're toast. You can only be genuine if you want to earn respect.

What to do.

DO. greet driver.
DO. compliment the ride.
DO. close doors properly.
DO. say good bye and thank you.

Drivers can, in extreme cases leave positive, verbal feedback. That's not just 5 stars, that's a note on your account which truly promotes you and pushes you to the next pool of riders who will receive better rides and drivers. If you do it right, you might find yourself getting more platinum and diamond drivers, instead of gold and blue. Your wait times might be lower. Quality of rides better.

How much driver is getting paid? If your fair is $20, driver is getting paid $8 or $9. Consider how far you have to travel and how long it takes. You can ask how much was your fair, driver side. Some routes can have tolls. Some routes can take driver into dead zone. Your $2 or $5 tip really doesn't help much. What helps is cleanliness and compliance. Drivers reward good behavior with positive reviews.

Finally. If driver asks you to cancel, say yes sir and cancel immediately. You have grace period of 2 minutes from time of arrival, it's free. Don't ask why. Just comply and order another ride, that's the quickest and cleanest way for you. If you don't comply, driver is going to cancel it for you after 2 minute grace and 5 minute wait. You will be charged for making driver wait.
