I am turning 30 tommorrow.......why am I feeling weird??? ha ha ha ha

My life is pretty good......good job......great friends..........

I am still single...is that a good thing??? I think so.





Anyone have any thoughts, stories, questions, advice, jokes about turning 30??

Uh I'm still doing the same **** at 32 as I was at 21. Nothings changed except how much money I have. Girls will still blow you in the parking lot.

you're feeling wierd cuz you are still plugged in to the matrix - i know i know, everyone is sick of hearing about the matrix, but thats how it is.

when we are young we think that life will 'begin' when we are 'older' and 'adults' and have 'jobs' and a 'house'.

so as we get older and we discover that - WTF, life doesn't 'feel' much different than it ever did - we get this 'wierd' feeling of 'what the heck is going on?!"

VU hits the nail on the head - every day above ground is a good day! this is why some of the happiest people in the world are senior citizens, because they are just thankful they woke up! they have 'unplugged' from the matrix - they are chasing after status, or money, or women (well not in a needy way anyway), they aren't thinking about whether they are a success or failure.

they are just happy they took a sh*t this mornign and get to play lawn bowling later on.

All of your life experiences in your 20's makes things SO much easier in your 30's.

What ever you do, don't go looking at new trucks. When I turned 30, I was still plugged into the matrix big time, and was feeling like sh!t for getting older.

I went to look at new trucks to compensate, and almost bought some huge 40K truck that I didn't need.

The sooner a person realizes that life just keeps getting d@mn better every single day you get older, the better off you are.

Enjoy the first day of the rest of your life.

Seriously though....what's with the turning 30 "crisis"?

I guess I thought about it for a second when I hit 30, but I don't remember it being a big deal.

When I was about 25 my dad told me that your 30's are the best time of your life. I couldn't have really imagined that back then, but so far he was right. When I hit 40 lets hope he was about a decade early
