Tucker Max...?

I came across this guy's website yesterday and and I really liked what I read. Some of the guys here seem to be big fans, and he seems legit just from the sincerity of his writing.

Just curious to hear any additional info on this guy or any conflicting opinions.

Tucker Max is a pretty good read, even if just for the laughs. I believe he embodies the ultimate "Do what I want cause I want it" attitude.

i'm a huge tucker fan. not only are his stories absolutely hilarious, if you look past all the hilarity, you will see tucker is the absolute alpha male. he absolutely "gets" what we try to preach here. examine the stories and spend some time on the messageboard.

if you fish around long enough on the messageboard and site, he puts up some of the questions that a lot of frustrated guys send him. on occassion he breaks down what is necessary to have the life you want. you know what? it is the same stuff we preach here. he shows what happens if you heed the advice and thats the kind of life you want. you get it. if you find his story, he starts out just as low on the totem pole as most of us presumably did, yet he has a flourishing website and has successfully thrown his reins around the life he wanted.

i also just bought his new book, "i hope they serve beer in hell". it has stories that aren't on his site and are pretty damn good.

If you read my posts lately, you'll see that this is the only site i link to. There is a very good reason for it. Put simply, this guy just gets it. What he says might be contrary to everything you hear from your "all knowing" friends, but if you have had quite a bit of experience with women, you will realize that almost all of it is the truth. This guy will tell you like it is, and you might become bitter, but sooner or later you'll realize it is the truth.

One word of caution - no matter how great the guy is, you must realize that you are not him, and should not want to be him. You must have your own ideas as to what you are looking for (in females). Be careful not to get it mixed up because you will end up in sh1t.

Oh yeah, there is another side effect of visiting his site regularly, you will start using more sophisticated language, you will swear a lot more, and you will be called an "*******" more often. In my experiences at least.

Stud, thanks for the heads up on the book. I hadn't heard about it, and it looks like I meet the requirements for getting a review copy for free...

I actually got my copy yesterday. The new stories are top notch.

Diablo, you write for LSU? I am going to try and write for my school this semester, but have absolutely no idea what kind of writing college papers look for or how formal the writing has to be. Any tips?
