Here is one not only for the boxing fans, but for you Aussies and Brits! Who will win?

Hatton has solidly beaten all comers, although, the quality has been C level opponents at best. Tszyu has beaten some top quality opposition and also looked great doing so. Both are fighters that like to come forward, both fit, and both strong (Tszyu probably a bit stronger), although Hatton has claimed this training camp he has done a lot more weights and is a lot stronger!

The fight will go into the trenches, with Tszyu coming out the victor over 12 rounds. Opinions?

UD, 115-113 twice, and 116-112.

If a bum like Phillips can knock out Tsyzu, so will Hatton.

Hatton is the next big name in boxing P4P

Hatton by KO! in front of his hometown crowd!

Phillips was a pretty good fighter. Tszyu got KOd by him because he stood there and took a couple hundred flush right hand bombs. That was eight years ago, and Tszyu has much better defense now.

Tszyu showed no rust or age against Mitchell, and I don't think he will tomorrow, either. Tszyu by KO in 9.

Tszyu is by far one of the best conditioned boxers in the world today, his strength / pound is extraordinary, and his accuracy is lethal. I'm not even an Aussie, and he's one of my favorite boxers.

Hatton did beat Phillips who beat Tszyu, true. But the Phillips he beat was 5 years older then the Phillips who beat Kostya, and Kostya botched that fight like someone said earlier. The Tszyu you see now is a more veteran fighter.

Hatton hasn't faced anyone with Kostya's power yet, and this fight will rock his world. My call is Kostya by KO or stoppage in round 7 or 8.

In other news, Hopkins said that he wants to move up to light heavyweight and fight the winner of Tarver/Johnson, as well as 2 more fights, his last one ending with Roy Jones Jr. He also said that he's not interested in fighting Winky Wright at all.

http://sports.yahoo.com/box/news;_y...HNlYwN0bQ--?slug=ap-hopkins&prov=ap&type=lgns

I think it's very lame that he is avoiding Winky, and chosing to end his career with a washed up Roy Jones Jr. As much as I respect what Hopkins has accomplished in his career, champs like this piss me off...

man that fight pissed me off. way too many low blows, and I still can't believe that KT gave up on the stool.

other then that, Hatton did an amazing job taking Kostya's punches, I totally underestimated him.

You got to expect the boos man. Thats the way us english are when it comes to sport. Most of the people there were footy fans, and thats what we do when it comes to football.

Anyway why the hell did Tsuyu quit? He looked completel fine. Great night though. Hattons finally reached the big time. Its time for him to take over the states now. Hatton v Corrales next. That would be good!

Good pick Jayer! You went against all the experts and got it right!

The crowd definately got to Tszyu, you could see in his eyes he wanted out of there after the first several rounds. Too much wrestling and not enough boxing, ref should have broke them up more, got frustrating and boring! Although Hatton implemented him game plan perfectly! The crowd seemed to spur him on further, and as we know, home crowed advantage definately occurs. Tszyu talked about how the crowed in Chavez fight didnt play a part, but that was because he was destroying Chavez.

Tszyu seemed real tired (might be the age finally catching up to him), Jones lost when he was 35, as did Hagler, and now Tszyu. 35 is old for a boxer, with BHOP being the exception that now every boxer thinks they can beat mother time, although BHOP looks his age in the ring, and will probably be exposed against Taylor. It seems like there is a changing of the guard in boxing, although not a favourable one to me, with guys like Tarver, Winky, Hatton, Klit and maybe Taylor taking over! All far more boring than their predecessors in Jones, BHOP, Tito, Tszyu, Lewis etc! Guys like Zab and Margarito up there in the welter division, whilest guys like Mosley etc are struggling. Definately a weird era for boxing!

I personally had Tszyu landing the cleaner blows in the fight, but Hatton ahead by a round and looked in the better condition.

I see Hatton winning this one also. I think a real tough fight for Hatton would be V Mayweather. Hatton fights a similar style to Castillo, although even better and stronger.

I would love to see Hatton V Witter for brittish pride. Both are awesome, although I personally see Witter as being silghtly better, although Hatton would have a great chance in the later rounds if he was to bring the same intensity he bought for the Tszyu fight.

Good call, Jayer.

I'll take Tarver over Johnson in the rematch, so given my record on fights this year Johnson will probably win.

Corrales wants to fight Hatton in november, and is willing to fight in England. That didn't take long lol.

I don't think he can pull it off, but I give him credit for having balls to challange right away, and give up home arena advantage just to get a shot.

Yeah, would be a great fight, I would favour Hatton as well. Hatton has a chin of iron, and Coralles doesnt do so good if taken into the deep water in an absolute war. Not to mention Coralles will be moving up again.

Coralles was at ringside for the Tszyu fight, so it is not a surprise he mentioned it so quickly, he was probably there giving interviews straight after, trying to get a fight with Hatton.

Mundine V Kessler tonight, I take Kessler by KO. I will be better some serious cash on this fight for the Kessler win (much as I like watching Mundine and he is too, a fellow Aussie), I think Kessler brings far too much to the table for the inexperienced Mundine.

I cant believe I missed the fight too!!!

Usually fights don't start till like 10:30 even close to 11 by the time I turned on the tv it was all over :(

I wish I would have gotten a chance to see what this guy Hatton is made of. From what it sounds like, he is tough, relentless, and has a solid chin.

Still, based on what Corrales did against Jose Luis Castillo, we know he has a huge heart. Not to mention great boxing ability.

He wanted to keep going against Mayweather but the fight was stopped, same with Cassamayor 1.

Should be interesting to see.

Clooney: Give me your next picks, I'll bet the opposite so I can make some good money :)

Kessler over Mundine (got that one right :D). Anyone see the fight? Mundine took some great punches and did some great work of his own! Dont know what the judges were watching, I had it Kessler by 2, or I could see how the case could be made for Kessler by 4, but that one judge having him up 12-0!! WTF! Insanity!

Tyson over McBride.

Tarver over Johnson. (just see Tarver being more focused for this fight, he didnt really look like he even wanted to be in the ring or trained hard for the first Johnson fight). Not to mention he is a bronze medalist and a pretty decent boxer. Although I have a gut feeling the Johnson pressure might get to Tarver again.

Mayweather over Gatti. (although Gatti definately has a punchers chance).

Taylor over BHOP.

Any more fights you can think of?

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Verno Phillips over Ike Quartey by mid round KO on the Tarver-Johnson undercard. Quartey is taking on a very tough guy in only his second fight back after a five year layoff. I can't find odds but I imagine Quartey is the favorite making Phillips a very good bet. Not that I'd put money on it given my record in '05.

I'll pick another upset with Kid Diamond taking a hard fought decision over Casamayor.

lol, I never mentioned these ones cause I just cant decide. Diamond is finally stepping it up, which will be good to see, he is an all-round solid fighter, but not great. Will be a close fight, could go either way.

Quartey, its real hard to say how he will look, and Phillips is a solid figher. Could also go either way, but I will pick Quartey, just because he was one of my all-time favourites back in his prime!

Pretty much picked this one also. Ended in a draw, knew it would be real close.
