Well, Cali, Oregon, Baja, BC, Washington and Alaska are under tsunami warnings after a 7.0 earthquake struck 80 miles off the coast of NorCal. Currently taking bets on whether San Fran's ballpark will be there tomorrow

I live in Washington, and I just heard that, while I was watching that show,"Hit me baby one more time". Scared the bejesus out of me at first, but it looks like it's not that serious. So I'm betting that San Fran's ballpark WILL be there tomorrow.

Ever since the 12/26 Asian tsunami, they are going out of their way to alert everybody to every single incident that could feasibly cause a tsunami.
Just like what the government did with its terror alerts after 9/11...
And in both cases, what will probably end up happening is that people will start ignoring them because they are so frequent and it will be as bad as if there were no warning at all when the actual disaster strikes.
