Just more pandering to the base, without any regard for the law, or knowledge of it. Facebook, twitter, youtube...sosuave, they are all private entities. The 1st Amendment has no relevance here. There is no right to speak freely on a private web site, or else we could never ban anyone from sosuave. And if one is trying to claim discrimination, one must be a member of what the Supreme Court has determined to be a protected class, like race, religion, sexual orientation, and to a lesser extent, gender. A private web site can't have something like a 'no jews' policy. But angry white men are not a protected class. They are the ones the protected classes get protected from.
A guy from youtube was on NPR yesterday saying that in the hour after the NZ massacre hit the Internet, they were deleting on average, one video per second. It was AI doing the deleting, not humans. When that happens, the AI will end up deleting a lot of accounts of right wingers, because it is hard to tell them apart from white supremacists.
And by the way, it was the corporate shill Republicans who repealed net neutrality, which gives ISPs the right to label sites like sosuave as hate speech, and basically kill them by slowing them down.
