ANYTHING that is for the "public benefit". and paid for with citizen's taxes, is socialism. It's certainly not "free market', so wtf else CAN you call it but socialism, eh?
When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.
Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.
Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.
The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Most of your posts I've read contain a lot of stuff I disagree with, but on this one, I understand the argument you're trying to make. You're identifying this sort of grey area where a nation that embraces capitalism yet uses tax monies for public utilities tends to lead toward socialism. So which is it?prison/con.net said:ANYTHING that is for the "public benefit". and paid for with citizen's taxes, is socialism. Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
There is a middle ground. You can't just go Hitler and kill off 90% of the world even if you don't like them. We aren't animals.prison/con.net said:nature says "tough ****" and I concur. The species does not benefit by helping the unfit to produce offspring (who are of course likely to be even MORE unfit, due to both nurture and nature being against them. The world's got 10x as many people ALREADY (as can have a decent life). Cutting out those who can't produce is the only thing that makes sense.
She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

In a crude sense, you're right. But the government we designed here in the US was supposed to be one to protect the rights and freedoms of its citizens. But like many governments, over time they became corrupt.prison/con.net said:you don't know what would happen if we had a free market. you just ASSUME that there'd be nobody shooting pos's who hog everything. I KNOW that there will be. Big difference. understand this. GOVT IS a monopoly, and people "THINK" that it's justified. But govt is no different than any other violent gang.
LiveFreeX said:The only problem with hyper capitalism is that not all people were created equally or in equally advantaged positions to take control of the market. Some people were born poor, some were born retarded, some were born with diseases. You are just lucky that wasn't you because if it was, you'd be singing a different tune. A TON of people take advantage of others who were born into poverty and ill-health and in the hyper capitalist system their crime is legal with enough money and connections. hyper socialism isn't great either but I'd rather have it to an all out free market system or a system that caters to only rich and healthy.
I don't mind paying for others who have it harder, I think that's part of being a first world country, helping those who cannot help themselves. I wasn't born healthy and I wouldn't have been a productive member of society if my parents had to shell out the money it would have required for my asthma problems. Likely they would have had to have stolen and found other ways to pay for the healthcare which may have indirectly interfered with your quality of life. For that reason, I'm glad I wasn't born in China or the states and don't have to resort to a Breaking Bad scenario to have my life extended.

You are a bitter guy when it comes to Christianity. This is the context:Bible_Belt said:Speaking of dogs, in Matthew 15, Jesus heals the daughter of the Canaanite woman. He refuses at first, calling her people "dogs," which was kind of a d!ck move, but she tells him that even the dogs get the crumbs that fall from their master's table. He relents and heals her daughter.
That is hardly calling the Canaanites "dogs". The emphasis is on the woman, not Jesus. The whole deal with kids and dogs is a parable. It can get really deep if you've read into it.21 Leaving that place, Jesus withdrew to the region of Tyre and Sidon. 22 A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is demon-possessed and suffering terribly.”
23 Jesus did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him and urged him, “Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us.”
24 He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.”
25 The woman came and knelt before him. “Lord, help me!” she said.
26 He replied, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.”
27 “Yes it is, Lord,” she said. “Even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table.”
28 Then Jesus said to her, “Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.” And her daughter was healed at that moment.
No one has said, "F*ck everyone who isn't a Christian". You have to discern where help is truly needed/wanted and where you would be deceived/manipulated.Bible_Belt said:So I don't think 'fvck everyone who isn't Christian' is a tenet of Christianity. I see a lot of preachy, churchy people on facebook who think we should murder all the muslims. I don't think they understand their own religion very well.
Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
