Yeah, aside from him being married and that he was caught using that kind of language on tape, I didn't see what was the big deal. Certainly just sounded like a dude who likes attractive women and goes after them, not like the misogynistic pig the media is painting him as. Besides, he says that women let him do whatever because he is a star. Was pretty obvious from the convo that he meant women LOVE it because of his status, but the tabloids turned it into Trump abusing his "power" to do things against their consent. This is sooooo ridiculous. One of my sisters (the one feminist sister) called me today acting so terribly appalled by this latest revelation. She asked "Have you seen the news about Trump?" I said "Nope." She went on and on how I really should see the news and about just how awful this statement was and then she said "Are you voting for him still?" I said "Yup."

She went on some more about the news blah blah blah. I was a good and patient sister for a while and finally I said "Look. I don't care. I could care less what Trump said to a tabloid rag 10 years or whatever ago, he's still getting my vote and the vote of all the intelligent women I know."

Then she was appalled at me. Oh well. Suddenly she had to go. It was kinda funny. What a red herring all this stuff is. Keeps his name at the top of the newsreel, which (+) or (-) he is working the media like nobody's business with the notable exception of Reagan.

I think its about time we had an actual executive in the executive office.

My stepmom (who is almost 80 and nursing my dying father) just called to chat about the debate. I asked her what she thought about the latest controversy.

She said "Oh God! All men talk like that behind closed doors. It's absurd. I don't care. I and all the women I know are voting for Trump."

She then pointed out how Hillary kept having to sit down during the debate. "No way does she have the vigor to be President."

This from an 80 year old woman with serious health problems who will take my Dad to vote on a stretcher if necessary. God love her.

My ex mother in law doesn't think a woman ought to be President. She's 75. There are many more female votes lurking out there than the media would have you believe.

Suring up the base doesnt win elections. Getting independents does. Nothing the man says will stop his current fans from voting for him. But plenty of the dumb crap Trump says will turn off undecided voters and increase turnout amongst those who cant stand him.

Trump is doing poorly with the necessary demographics needed for an electoral college win. And hes no where close to getting the popular vote either.
