I personally think that media is empowering to a lot of women these days. They seem to think that they can emulate the women that they see on the commercials belittling men. I NEVER let them get away with it. ANY condescending word or action and I WILL check them on the spot.

Media absolutely does empower women and tell them how to act. For example, I swear since the media started promoting the cougar stuff and old women are sexy, every 40-50 year old woman is strutting around like she's a sexy goddess. And lots of 40-50 year old woman are now hooking up with men 10 or 15 years younger :crazy:.

Watching it right now and I'll say this movie can only be made so feminist. Not gonna bother with either of the clips because I think molyneux is full of sh!t from before and I don't care enough to listen to the other one but if you think they make valid points feel free to tell me. You know when the three b!tches come to bless the kid? what do they gift her with? oh yeah: beauty! it's kinda hard to turn that blessing into something feminist. Update: Ahhh, when prince boy and the girl meet in the woods. You know what I find funny about that? this kind of romance is what feminism has fought so vigilantly to destroy and now it's being shown here and probably making girls swoon over what they can't have. You think the instagram slvts of today would behave like this girl when he appeared? HA! what a joke right. They'll probably think it's all on the men who aren't acting like this prince (who shows beta behaviour) and won't even realise that the biggest difference between that scene and our world isn't in how the man acts, it's the woman!
