"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Lately, I've been having some trouble with my myspace/facebook game. I'll start girls off with various openers and then question their adventurousness/craziness with "what's the craziest thing you've ever done" etc. Some reply with the craziest thing they've done. However, about 70% use some lame cop out like "oh, i haven't really done anything crazy" or something along those lines.

I've been countering that by negging them a bit and then telling them one of my badass skydiving stories or the time i almost got caught having sex in my ex-gf's bedroom. Then it usually get's a good reply, but nothing that's overly exciting and almost ALWAYS they never ask any return. More than anything else, this is happening to me a lot whether i go the "what's the craziest thing you've done" route or not. The conversation just dead ends whether its just a sentence or two reply from them and no return questions about me, or saying they're not that adventurous. Bottom line, I can't get them to open up to me unless I tell them stories about myself EVEN after I ask them questions. This is at the point also where it's too soon to just ask for the number after 2 messages or so, so I need a little something else to get that fire going until i get to the phone.a

Are there certain tones/questions you take more than others when you want girls to open up?

If this post made any sense, let me know. lol

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I've had similar happen to me. Where I am the one keeping the conversation going, and they only answer my questions but don't really add anything to the convo themselves.

A girl that is genuinely interested in you will ask you things about yourself, because she wants to get to know you obviously. If she is not doing that, then she's probably not interested and maybe just chatting with you out of boredom. If some other guy comes along who they actually are interested in, she'll vanish and stop replying to you altogether.

Ahh, the first line was what i was trying to organize my scattered thoughts into. Exactly, some of the girls I'm talking to aren't really adding anything to the convo, rather it's me adding a lot. However, maybe I'm not asking the right questions though? Because obviously a girl might not be really interested right away, you've gotta build some connection to get her to open up. Maybe it's the questions that i'm not asking up to that point?
