"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Howdy. 20 years old, university student, never had a girlfriend, hell, never been kissed.

No physical problems, 5'11, 155 lbs. Lean, but not really muscular or anything.

Anyways, the problem I'm having is that the only members of the opposite sex that have ever shown any interest in me are all ugly, fat or both. As a result, my confidence has been slowly degrading over the years. It seems as though I should be getting girls in the middle of the quality scale, but the only ones that have ever shown interest were bottom of the barrel.

It's getting to the point where I'm starting to get desperate and I have a feeling I'm going to settle for less and never be happy. It isn't like I have unreachable standards by any means, and the fact that people are always surprised to hear I don't/never had a girlfriend kind of makes me feel a little better.

It seems as though I've tried everything on my end from funny to quiet to outgoing to ****y and nothing seems to work. I can't shake this feeling that I have this horrible flaw that only I can't see.

Just wondering if anybody has ever been in this situation and if they have any advice.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Sounds like your biggest problem. Pathetic. Put on some pounds you lanky bastard.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Having self confidence governed by others is sort of like being a small boat in the middle of the ocean. You don't have any control over what happens, you are at the mercy of the environment. While a submarine (or some one with a deep self confidence) is not affected quite so much because it doesn't worry about the surface (how people treat or interact with you).

Desperation is the worlds worst cologne. You'd probably have better luck if you rubbed yourself with trash. You are the prize, the sooner you get that ideology, the sooner your confidence will soar.

You need to squash that feeling. Champions do not go in to a championship thinking they have no chance. They KNOW they will win. Even if you fail, at least you tried.

As others have said, read the bible. It works well for gaining confidence. Especially Pook, Senor Fingers and some others.

Haha, wake up kid - The Matrix has you!!! Men do not attract women - they attract us - pursue that which you seek and see as fair-seeming!!!

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
