"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

There is this HB 8.5 that is a very tricky girl. She is overly physical with just about every guy she meets when she gets teased, even if she doesn't like the guy.

Well, one day we all decided to go see a movie. Her and her best friend and me and a couple of mutual friends. As I was teasing her, she hit me, but this time she hit me in a tender spot in my shoulder. I was pissed ( not really, but I wanted to gauge her reaction). I walked out as I was about to leave saying " I don't need to be here, I have better things to do." Then, I act like I'm about to leave. Right before I'm about to leave she stops me and say's she's very sorry, that she didn't know she hit me hard, and that she didn't know I would take it that way. I used this as an opportunity to tell her that "she didn't need to do that stuff to get my attention" ( as well as slipping in some kino and EC). Now, I haven't really spoken to her since, but now she seems to be sitting closer to me, mimicking me, etc.

Sorry about the long post. But my question is, Was this the right way to do things considering the situation?

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

I personally don't like being emotional , like leaving the cinema cos she hit you but you did handle it very well afterwards indeed.

too emtional? You're probably right. That wasn't my intention, obviously. Guess it's someting I need too work on. I probably should have tried something more than simple kino since I had her isolated, oh well....

Act as if she's interest in you. It seems like her interest level is about 60 percent. In other words, check her interest level because I know you read the articles on the front page, the dj bible, and other links on the menu on the left-hand-side of the front page. Not all the articles you read will relate to your situation or even your way of doing things. However, it will give you some insight on how to check her interest level.

I think you want to see where her interest level stand with you. Stop acting sensitive. Do your homework. I hope you have her phone number.

As I said earlier, I did this on purpose to see her reaction, and, by the looks of it, she was clearly fazed that someone had did that ( as many guys would just stand there and take some more abuse and becoming LBJF's [ I told you she was weird]). I probably overreacted like you said.... I'll fix that. Any input other than that? Has anyone dealt with a similar type girl?

Also, she is more than 60% interested in me. It's probably closer to 75%. I've already caught her staring at me a fair share of times, and she has told me how good I looked twice in one of the few conversations we've had [ haven't had time to really talk to her yet] (and this girl gives out compliments about as rarely as I do.... almost never).

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Update

Sorry to bring up such an old thread, but I wanted to see if anybody could figure out this chick. Ever since the above happened, this girl has taken glances at me when I walk by. But, when I try to start a conversation she acts disintersted. But, when I try to flirt with other women, she immediately talks to them before I leave. She also does other stuff that pisses me off ( i.e take my car keys from a spot that I left them and deny that she has them, then acting like she cant hear me, throw popcorn at me during the movies, actually moving up to where I'm sitting in the movie theater, trying to tell me what to do, etc.). Should I call her out on this and othert shyt tests or should I ignore them ( like I have been trying to do) until she stops? Any other advice would be helpful.

Forget her and you're a *****.

Don't act like such a ***** with the next chick.

These aren't **** tests. You are just a herb and she is bullying you.
