"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

A friend of mine was at a party one night and he told me that he was gonna f*** this girl. He pointed to her, and I seriously thought there would be no way that he could pull one that good looking.

Well to my surprise he did.. that night.. and he didn't take her out to eat, he didn't even attempt any dj skills at all. It was just like the stars lined up perfectly for him that night.

So, now I want to be with her as well, but should I take her out to eat or do something were I spend money or any significant amount of time on her to get with her? I mean I have met up with her a time or two just to see how I would do with out applying any skills.

Well I'm afraid I'm gonna have to try harder then my friend. And then if I did eventually sleep with her after spending a significant amount of time together would that make me seem less talented with the ladies since I had to work harder than he did?

Or should I stop now?

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

What do you mean he didn't apply any dj skills? He macked it to her man, and it seems like he did so pretty well! There is no such thing as "skills" dj'ing is much deeper than that.

What you are doing right now sounds unhealthy. Watching your friend do this is what makes you want this girl. It seems like you're trying to prove something to yourself, and in my opinion, you're setting yourself up to fail.

Also, taking a girl out and spending money on her is not only ineffective, but its treating her like a prostitute -essentially offering her money for sex. In my opinion, buying your way into a girls' pants is sleeezy.

And yes, you WILL feel bad about yourself because you couldn't mack it to her. I have been in situations like this in my past, and i felt inadequate when i had to try much harder than my friend to pulll a girl.

My advice is to get your mind off of her and go for something healthier.

Bros before hoes, man.

My roommate was the biggest man***** I've ever met, but he never even thought about laying the mack down on chicks I was after.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Yes and no. Of course, I would never pay for a woman. I love to brag that I have NEVER bought a table dance at a Strip Club in my life, and I've been to many of them, all over the Western US. I wouldnt give a woman 53 cents to dance for me. And I have never hired a prostitute, nor do I ever need to. And I am the Attention Wh0re's number one enemy. I am the guy who they can NEVER mooch a goddammed drink off of.

On the other hand, if a woman is offering me her a$$ and the sex is good, sure, I'll buy her drinks and food, on occasion. And if she wants to go to a concert with me, all the better, I'll spring for tickets and drinks at the show, but she sleeps naked with me that night. Bottom line.

I'm with reyalp on this one.

Don't go for sloppy seconds, dude. I've kicked a lot of buddies out of my life for hanging around like vultures squabbling for my scraps. Have some respect for yourself and your boys - Bro's before Ho's is a concrete rule. Unless you've got the blessing of your friend, it's bad ju-ju to mack on your buddy's exes.

Consider this:
What if she's still on your buddy's do-able working list? Then you get in on the action? That's a kockblocker move. And, I don't know about your boy, but I don't tolerate that sort of coxbloxing from my friends.
