Treasury notes

Anyone here ever buy them? Have a good amount of cash rotting in a savings account and saw 3 month notes are over 5 percent? What is the easiest way to purchase them ?

Most brokers allow purchase of Treasury bonds, but I've mostly bought ultra-short term bond funds instead.

You could pick some up through TreasuryDirect, it's actually a good exercise to gain some context as to how the system works. But really unless you are actively managing your investments, the bond funds are going to be just as effective for you.
