"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

The story begins 2 days ago.

I visited my gf in the afternoon like I usually do every other day or so. We had really great time, and I felt that our relationship has reached a new level since we met 6 month ago. I had to leave her place before the night because my roomate held a birthday party. So I left her flat and went to buy some beers for the party.

When I reached back to the college dorm my friends were ready to have a really really good time. After I ate my diner I was also ready for probably the best night of this year, then suddenly...

My phone whos ringing, I saw its her. Her voice is shaking... She is crying like a little girl. I ask:
-What happened?
- You have to come to my place... please, I really need you
- What? Why?
- (She cant stop crying)
- Just please come.

Needles to say I didnt know what to think. Ive never heard/seen her crying like this, so I told my friends that I will be back really soon beacuse I dont want to miss this party.

I walked back to her (she doesnt live really far from me). She opened the door and I saw her crying and she couldnt stop it. I asked again:
-What happend?
- I cannot put into words
- What?!
- My dad died right before I called you

My legs started to shake and I couldnt not say anything. She huged me and cried on my chest for straight an hour. She told me that If I want to get back to my friends... I just COULDNT! If it was just a **** tests I could, but it wasnt, I heard her mom also crying on the phone.

This girls is only 21 years old, and she lost her only realy man in her life. She told me how she looked up to him. He was a healthy man. He didnt drink alcohol and didnt smoke cigarettes. He just died in a snap of a finger. So as I said before, I couldnt go back to my place. This was too much of a shock for me. She was crying all night in her bed. I was the only person near her. She woked up burst out crying.

I really feel sorry for her. I kinda like this girl, she is beautiful and has a nice personality. All of my friends told me that she is really nice looking girl. There were people asking how could I land such a nice girl (We all know how).

:(

I know there are guys here who are really experienced, and I want to ask them how can I help this girl out? How much time does it take to let this tragedy fade away? What should a real man do in this situation?

I told her that she can count on me. And she said she really loves me, and thanked for staying with her.

Love

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

My father died last October. There are no right words. Escape the game and be a friend to another human. There is no set time either, but I left the state 5 months later and set a whole new set of goals for myself. Basically uprooted my life. It has me at least invested in life again.

You're an attention *****.
Ye keep analyzing. For you information im not a girl you want to f.ck, but a guy who needed advise from experienced DJs.

Thank you, I really hope I can help her out.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

As for what you did, you did nothing wrong of course, you acted like a good human being should and you were there for her in this time of despair. It will not be easy for her, by no means. Add to that that she is a woman and they experience this kind of events even deeper then we do. My father passed away in December. It still saddens me deeply to this day to think that I will never meet him again, only time will heal that, but a loss is always a loss. Be a man for her. A MAN not an AFC/pvssy. Be strong so that you can be strong for her as well. I wish I could help more but its not an easy one for me.
