Total DJ Bible Immersion?

How do I make sure to believe every single word and start applying it to everyday life. What did you guys do (if you started with the bible)? I'm confident on everything except my looks, that's the only thing that has never quite worked for me. Thanks in advance, I read a bit of the bible before a camp and it had results but stopped reading. I will resume.
