"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I am sick of my gut. So I have decided to bust my ass for the next 30 days in attempt to remove my gut and get my body to look good. I am going to show before and after pictures and come into this thread to share any progress or as an oulet for late night food cravings. This is what I look like now:

As you can see, I am not over weight or anything, just an ugly fat gut. In 30 days I will post new pics of what I look like. I am determined to do this. If I have any success at all, I'll post what exercises I did, food I ate...etc...

Thanks for the support guys. And if anyone wants to yell at me like a drill sargent, go right ahead. I need all of the inspiration as possible. :trouble:

Lets go!

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

YAY!!!

That is a horrible "look at me I'm pregnant" gut!!!

Good luck on your cause, I was thinking the exact same thing last night... What would happen if everyday somebody took a picture of themselves and made a flash video of their body progressively getting fittern and fitter.

Like 30 days of pictures, 3 different angles. 90 different pictures. Take pictures of yourself working out. Take a picture of different muscles, and of your face... and just make one of those home videos.

That's not a fat gut, that's just a weak gut... I'm sure there are a lot of guys on here who could show you a picture of a truly fat gut. I can tell that yours is just being pushed out for dramatic effect;)

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Dude, good luck but don't expect much improvement in 30 days. I order to see any really measurable progress it'll probably take you around 3 months. Long term change can take a year or more.

That isn't fat, man. Cardio won't make it go away, I can tell you since I have your same exact problem. It's mostly due to food allergies you don't even know. When I was 10-yrs-old, I was severely underweight (in relation to my height and bodyframe, I should have weighed 30 lbs more than I did), yet my gut was even bigger than yours.

Now, it's not as big as back then, but it's really awkward. Sometimes, I have an awesome 8-pack, then a couple of hours ago, it looks like I'm pregnant.

If somebody knows how to solve this, please post.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I second this. You may lose some water weight in 30 days, but don't expect to drop much fat. Plus, if you're trying an intense 30 day crash diet, you will probably end up burning more muscle and actually gain more fat. Crash diets send your body into an emergency mode and cause it to store fat.

Instead of crash diets and fitness phases, you should be looking to alter your lifestyle to incorporate exercise and start to drop all the unhealthy foods you've been eating/drinking. It takes time, but it's easier to implement and has a much higher success rate.

That vid. is mad motivating.

Bottom line... just do your best.
You'll feel and see a difference in the 30.
Then just keep on rollin'

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I don't know for sure either but if Adone's theory is correct, that may very well be a plausible explanation. Certain food allergies do cause excessive bloating and discomfort. That could explain everything.

Exactly. I also noticed that after doing heavy exercise/cardio and drinking water, the gut becomes huge. I think bloating plays a big role into this discomfort.
