"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Alright. I know this HB8, and I had her on the palm of my hand fellas. NO kidding. I KNEW she had interest in me, and she knew I had interest in her. However, I knew her for about 2 weeks (from the day that I met/sarged her) and I was going to take it to the next level and make her mine, until this friend she had (3-year friend) had the guts to ask her out.

SHE SAID YES TO HIM! She told me about it the next day, and I felt like crap. She said she didn't want to make him feel bad, so she agreed to be with him.

Now, I still talk to her and use C&F just for kicks whenever I talk to her, whether it's AIM or phone or something. I have yet to meet her in person because she goes about from Arizona to California every 3 weeks. At this point, I never even bothered to ask her if she's still with her guy. I want to try to give it another shot with her, because I think we could've had something great if it worked out!

I sound like I have One-itis, I know. Chances are, she might still be with the guy, and she may have lost her interest for me. ON the other hand, she could've dated him out of pity (hopefully) and still have interest for me...I dunno. I'm slightly confused about this matter, although my DJness is kept intact.

Do you guys think I should give it another go (whether she's with the guy or not) or just next her?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Next her until she brakes up with the boy-friend, it'll make you look desparate and she'll think u as a friend if you talk to her about the relationship. Also it's violating the conduct of DJ to mack on someone else's girl-friend if you willing to put up a fight go ahead and hit on her.

First things first: It seems like the way I wrote this sounded like I met this girl over the 'net.

****BIG ERROR****
the part about me not having met her yet, sorry about that. What I MEANT to say was, she goes about from Arizona and California every 3 weeks, and because of school and my own life, I haven't gotten the chance to meet up with her ever since I last saw her.

1) YES she has met me in person, and YES I've dated her once before she came to that conclusion. I sarged on her at an SAT prep school.

2) Thanks Captain Obvious! Sarging on the internet is just stupid, unless you're doing the ****y/funny with a girl you've already MET and TALKED with, which is my situation.

3) I've already nexted her. I would definitely hate it if someone else was dating MY girl, so I wouldn't dare date anyone else's girl. However, if it's a fair game between me and her so called "BF" then I'm willing to challenge my DJ morals and fight for what I want.

So far, only...peternorthisawesome gave an ACTUAL response based on my...misleading thread.

I hope you guys can re-read it and give me some feedback.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Everywhere you want to be.... I'm like a Visa card
u already nexted her......... problem over, close thread.

besides, u seem to not have much time together. between her traveling, and all your school work and your "life", it sounds like it would just be one drag of a relationship. find someone more available.
