"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

My favorite band has been the Beatles for the past 30 years. While many here pretend DJ community was just created, they haven't studied their Beatles. No band captured unrequited love, heartbreak or oneitis like the Beatles (which given their ultimate rock star status shows how humble and human they were).

Some of the best romantic songs that captured what we go through (in Chronological Order)

1) Anna (Go to Him)
2) PS I Love You
3) Don't Bother Me
4) You Really Got a Hold on Me
5) Devil In Her Heart
6) Money
7) Thing We Said Today
8) You Can't Do That
9) No Reply
10) I'm A Loser
11) I'll Follow The Sun
12) I Don't Want to Spoil the Party
13) Help (Ideally with James Bond Intro)
14) The Night Before
15) Ticket to Ride
16) Yesterday
17) Drive My Car
18) You Won't See Me
19) Think for Yourself
20) The Word
21) Michelle
22) I'm Looking Through You
23) In My Life
24) Here There and Everywhere
25) She Said She Said
26) And Your Bird Can Sing
27) I Want to Tell You
28) Got to Get You into my Life
29) She's Leaving Home
30) When I'm Sixty Four
31) Baby, Your a Rich Man
32) While My Guitar Gently Weeps
33) I'm So Tired
34) Blackbird
35) I Will
36) Sexy Sadie
37) Oh Darling!
38) I Want You
39) You Never Give me Your Money
40) The End
41) Two of Us
42) I Me Mine
43) I've Got a Feeling
44) One after 909

(Singles)

45) I Call Your Name
46) I Feel Fine
47) Yes it Is
48) Day Tripper
49) We Can Work it Out
50) Lady Madonna
51) Hey Jude
52) Don't Let me Down
53) The Ballad of John and Yoko

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

56) She Loves You
57) Something
58) I Want to Hold Your Hand
59) For No One "Your day breaks. Your mind aches. You find that all her words of kindness linger on when she no longer needs you;"
60) I'll Be Back "You know if you break my heart I'll go, but I'll be back again, 'cause I told you once before goodbye, but I came back again. I thought that you would realize that if I ran away from you, that you would want me to, but I got a big surprise".

Not sure how I missed those last two - perhaps the most heartbreaking two of all.

"You've got to hide your love away" Great song but cringy if you can relate.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
