“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Too much porn

I realized yesterday that I have too much porn on my computer. I'm fortunate enough to work from home and with no one looking over my shoulder its easy to get "distracted" throughout the day. It's not a guilt/morality thing its a matter of becoming a bit desensitized and it was almost starting to replace the real thing. Anyone else have thoughts/experience with this?

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Glad you realized that you are developing a problem. I would not advise watching pornography, it can cause servere problems and it will desensitize you from wanting women (After all its not a sure orgasm, unlike masterbation). Plus thats just exploitation of women, like prostitution. Your 'pimping' your hand and computer screen for your pleasure. Although it is your decision. Just accept whatever happens. But I am seriously glad you realized this, alot of men never think there can be 'too much' of anything.

I work from home too and also have porn addiction problems myself. I just can't get enough looking at female flesh. It's like you're never satiated. I'm trying to control the problem. I think it probably emanates from boredom. Just like people who get bored sometimes alleviate their boredom by eating, some do it through porn. The cure to this stuff may be just to live a more well-rounded, interesting life that involves people. I really am starting to think that porn-addiction is nothing more than boredom + loneliness + lust.

I certainly agree with that; as far as porn exploiting women I have to disagree.

As someone who worked in LA for quite a while, you start to see that whole industry in a different light. Its a business, and its about money, its not the early 80's where things were much seedier than they are today, Vivid video has a huge building right across the freeway from Universal Studios, no one really pays it much attention, its just another company.

I think many, many men deal with porn addiction to some degree.

It's an insidious addiction, because every 'session' starts so innocently, like "hmm, I wouldn't mind seeing a little T & A". Then before you know it, 45 minutes have passed and you're like "wtf did I just do with the last hour of my life?" Just one more video...one more video. It's so easy and accessible.

I've watched porn on and off since I was about 14. It's gotten to the point where I am almost completely desensitized to it. To an extent I think it even desensitizes you to actual sex. I still love sex of course and 'perform' just fine, but it's like half the time I have sex I'm fantasizing about some porno thing. I have a beautiful naked chick in my lap blowing me and I'm still thinking about some porn scene I saw?!?! That's not normal.

I used to be RACKED with guilt about it, but one day I just sort of gave in and said "fvck it, I'm tired of feeling guilty for this, every guy does it, and I'm not looking at anything sick or perverted". I think they key to getting away from it, is, like speakeasy said, having a life that does not revolve around the computer. Trust me, having a gf or regular sex doesn't change a thing. You gotta have more social things to take up your time and be constantly involved with something. Idleness is the killer.

I don't think working from home is fortunate at all, and actually part of the problem. You are infront of the monitor, away from interacting and socializing with people and women during the day, everyday.

Porn addiction is one the results of this isolation. Porn can actually turn into a drug if you are not careful.

Yeah I was seeing a girl for the last year and a half and getting regular sex, and heck, I probably looked at more porn while I was seeing her than I did before.

I'd agree with that. I think my biggest problem is boredom.

What kind of business your doing at home? Is it easy to start?

Anyway, its difficult to explain the process from getting into porn and to being completely free from it. But Its the same reason why people are possesed by drugs, smoking, drinking and porn...

They are searching for God...

People these days are not getting love, acceptance, and appreciation from others and from themselves. Thats why instead of being honest with themselves they go the easy way out. If there was a time to question yourself, it would be now.

The best decision anyone can do in this situation is to admit that they need help and the best person to admit it to is God.

I had the same problem which Ive only recently realised was an issue.
Essentially I was addicted to porn, I used it far to often, for to long, it was eating into my life and harming me mentally.
over several years of addiction I built up over 10 gigabytes of the stuff on my harddrive.

One day I realised I had an issue. I chucked away my DVD's and magasines, and deleted all the porn from my hard drive. Initially it was quite difficult, and I still struggle from time to time.

Ive found the sure way to elimitate porn from my life has been to remove all risk of exposure to it. I have no TV, and recently gave up my laptop as well, now I have to use the internet in public places like the library.

I dont miss porn. I think my life is a great deal better for not watching it anymore, and I reccomend to anyone who watches it more than just occasionally, that they also take steps to kick the habit.
