"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I was at a little family get-together today and was having a conversation with some people, including my mom. An interesting topic came up about how all people of both sexes display both masculine and feminine traits, it just varies depending on the individual (i.e. some males are more feminine than others).

Then we got to talking about what each member in my family was like and when we get to me my mom says I'm "too masculine" and that it's not right.

Now this got me thinking, is there really a such thing as too masculine???

(And just so everyone knows I'm not one of those guys who walk around acting all tough and macho, I know that will be the first thing said)

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

I don't think there is. But even though she's your Mom and you love her, you don't need a female perspective on how to be a man.

Yes

I had like a mini revelation when I was thinking this over all day. I realized I was pushing people away with the whole alpha male, dominant thing. I'm not talking about HB's, I'm talking about good friends. I realized I was turning into one of those *******s who I hate, and I can't do that. I'm going to try to be more natural. I'm naturally a leader, no need to AMOG or any of that bull****.

So yea, maybe there is no such thing as too much masculinity, but there definitely is a such thing as ACTING like you have a lot of masculinity, which is bad.

Males and females share "Human" traits which encompass male/female qualities that are dominant in one sex over the other!

There is no such thing as being too masculine - when someone says this they mean "calm your ass down - you are too domineering and too aggressive"! CHILL!!!

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Ask your mom what does she define as masculine?

She might say something to the likes of, "Like A Man!" lol or something, to translate into being stuck up, self-centered or something like that.

Here's the thing, people are going to say a lot of things about you, especially if you are living the "don juan" lifestyle.

They will say nice things, they will say bad things....they will lie about you, they will try and define who you are.

The key thing is to know WHAT YOU WANT TO BECOME. Notice I said know who you want to become, and not what you have become.

Because there's always a better YOU available. Even when you reach one level of success, there's always another level.

So just keep striving to be the best YOU you can be.....it's the zest of life baby!

I agree. The biggest wusses are the ones who walk around acting like they are Mr. Tough Guy.
