I crashed a halloween party last night. I don't know how it happened really, but a lot of sophomore girls have taken a liking to me and I was invited to this place.
Anyway, I went dressed as the state puff marshmellow man (think Ghostbusters). My costume was pretty damn sweet, and all night girls who I'd never talked to before, had never looked at me before, or who I hadn't talked to much before were giving me hugs and touching me. I'm not sure how many numbers I could have gotten, but I'm certain I could have gotten at least a couple.
So, here's the dilemma. Everybody there knew each other, and they're pretty much all part of the same clique. Therefore, if I asked for one girl's number and got it, word would spread fast. If I asked for two girls' numbers and got them, word would spread equally fast and I had a feeling this would have backfired in my face.
Would I have come off as a jerk for asking different girls for their numbers, or would they have been flattered/impressed? I personally see nothing wrong with it, but I'm not going to go for more than one number if it means I'll be getting a lot of grief.
