"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

I'm a pretty funny guy and could have the possibility to keep a girl in constant stitches when I'm in the zone. I've been thinking over this and was wondering if it was a bad thing to be constantly humorous. I'm really sarcastic and like to throw in a sexual innuendo every once in awhile to try and balance things out, but I don't want to have her enjoy my presence so much that she doesn't want to ruin our relationship or possibly think that I was immature because I can't be serious and just want to joke around.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Funny is good. Make sure you're not so funny that you come off as clownish or soley as a source for entertainment.

You can't really be too funny as long as everyone else is laughing. It wouldn't hurt to have a serious conversation every now and then either though.

Just make sure you don't come off as straight-up goofy (or a clown as was said earlier) and you'll be fine. Keep it coky+funny and it'll be even better.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Cool cool

too bad you are not as funny as me! Well being funny is really good, just make sure you act serious when she says something like "Can we talk" or whatever.

I sometimes think I act a little goofy. I'm quite a brilliant, deep person when you get to know me and at the same time I can be pretty funny. Using humor to promote a sexual agenda works pretty well most of the time, it's a great way to test the water, advance kino, and show her your sexual side. I think I have a pretty good combo of seriousness/humor considering the fact that one minute I'll have you crying you'll laugh so hard and the next I'll be talking about "deep" things.

If I were you I would focus your surely amazing joke-cracking skills towards uping the sexual ante and being ****y, throwing in a few jokes about random things are good but don't just sit there across from her doing a stand up act.

Humor is a powerful weapon in your DJ arsenal but it is completely useless unless pointed in the right direction

Make sure you direct your funny at her every once in awhile. Girls feel that more special when you have something funny to say about them. Ontop of that, you don't come off as a comedian who takes everything as a joke and makes fun of everything.

Developing comedy isn't exactly overnight. I watch a LOT of standup from some really good guys--

Dane Cook (ESPECIALLY Dane Cook, most popular comedian in the world right now)
Jim Gaffigan
Mitch Hedberg (RIP:rockon: )
etc.

Also, try story telling. The funnier the story, the better. Do what these standup guys do, imitate voices/gestures/etc., really make things interesting. If you can do this easily, you're well on you're way to being a very funny guy.

Use humor as a push-pull tactic. Usually, I like to tell incredibly politically incorrect jokes (think Carlos Mencia) and I will have a group doubled over in laughter. Targeted humor works too. Once you have worked the group a few times and they accept your jokes, no matter how offensive they may be, catch them on it. Girls absolutely love cynical humor.

*Somebody says something stupid or outrageous and the mood is light
Me: Hey! LESS CRACK! That's what I prescribe for you! *Use your hands*
Group: *Cracks up even more, the butt of the joke is also in on it*
Me: *Stop for a second and say with a smile* You guys are horrible!
Me: But seriously man, jesus, did you just tweak out behind the shed over there and think that *blank* would be a good idea?

I use this routine all the time, and it works wonders. Most of the time, I will rotate through the group, making fun of everybody so that there is not even a trace of hostility, but instead a solidified connection. Of course, your humor needs to be congruent with your personality to have the best effect.

Find a sense, or style, of humor that fits you best rather than attempting a style that doesn't at all fit your personality.
