If you were thinking about improving your voice, the first step I suggest is to buy a digital voice recorder at your local radioshack, and record normal conversations, telephone conversations.
ok now, maybe you don't like your voice. Maybe your voice is soo.. monotone.
The key to improving your voice is emphasis on key words.
for example instead of saying
" I was Hoping to borrow your car again today"
say this
_____Hoping_____________again
I was ------ to borrow your car __today"
emphasis on the hoping and again.
It maybe difficult at first, try to practice atleast 15 min a day, using normal conversation sentences.
