He was syndicated in quite a few cities, but based in Los Angeles. The station was 97.1 The FM Talk Station (then renamed to Free FM), which switched to a top 40 format, so all of the talk shows it once put out have been dropped.
I know that he was doing his show on KLSX, that's the station that carried Howard Stern for 14 yeras. I live in LA. My question is, being that he was syndicated, what happens to his show on the other cities where he's heard? Does he not do a show in LA, but continues on other stations across the country?

Since he was based in LA and the station he was based at has switched formats, he will no longer be doing shows at all. I guess this wasn't clear before. Any other place that syndicated the show will probably hear some reruns until they fill his timeslot with something else (if they didn't just yank the show immediately). No more new Leykis anywhere until we hear that another station has picked him up somewhere, but for now I'm guessing he's fine focusing on his estate and picking up a paycheck for doing nothing.
