Tom Boys / Ladettes

The last 2 girls I've dated have been only what I can describe as 'Tom Boy-ish'. i.e. they dress really casually, drink pints or act like 'lad-ettes'. I met a girl only recently at a Bus Stop, asked her out and on our first date, she revealed without prompting 'I've always been a bit of a Tom Boy'. Argh! My heart sank. She flaked in the end, but the Tom Boy thing is becoming a concern of mine.

You see, I WANT a feminine girl who likes to dress up, who's confident with her sexiness, but is also practical and intelligent etc etc. I've ended up dating 'Tom Boy' girls because they're intelligent or we just hit it off (not bad things of course), but I know it will be doomed because my eye is always drawn to the sassier, sexily dressed girl.

I have noticed though that the sassier girls are drawn to brick sh+t house bouncer, pycho's, city trader lawyers, or spindley drug fiend types who look like they'd burgle your house in an instant.

Have any of you chaps encountered this problem of attracting certain 'types' or perhaps you've 'manufactured' yourself to get the 'type' you want?

perhaps you just need a regular girl who looks nice in blue jeans but also can clean up well and skirt around town with you in a dress
or
perhaps you should mention how ladies in dresses look great or how pantyhose and heels turn you on.
perhaps you should mention that you adore ladies that paint their toe nails because it is so dang cute.

if a gal hears things like this, and wants to make a lasting impression, she will go home paint her toenails and figure out a great outfit to wear the next time you go somewhere.

if she doesn't care what you think, she will just say "take me as i am or leave me"

then you will know early on how things will end up.

Yes - I've had the latter a couple of times and er.. I've walked!
I have done your suggestions in the past but find that 'tom boy' girls get suspicious if you so much as hint that you'd find them sexier in a skirt etc. I think it's normaly down to them not being that comfortable with their femininity. Either way, my experience of suggesting a change of appearance etc has only met with resentment if they have - just because they feel they're not being themselves I suppose...

I think you're problem is that you are just beginning your progress into DJism. You're going after the girls who are easiest, which happen to be the masculine girls who will hit on you. The trouble is that they will also hit on every other guy they meet, and in the end, you probably won't be masculine enough for them. (But then again -- who can be?)

The bitterness of a poor quality woman is remembered far longer then the sweetness of how easy it was to get her. Keep your standards up. Aim HIGH.

Read "The Natural Order of Things" and you will understand why your desire for "sassy women" is unnatural and AFCish. (Unless you're just looking for a quick fling and a ONS, that is.) Go for the feminine women; they are more of a challenge -- because you have to be more aggressive -- but they are worth far more if you can find one!

Oh don't get me wrong - I want the feminine girl - but perhaps as you say, I obviously am not emitting enough of an agressive, masculine stereotype so get the Guardian reading, comfy shoe wearing intellectual types. Damn and blast:box:

You misunderstand me; "emitting" a highly masculine vibe is the only way possible (if indeed there is such a way) to hang onto these masculine hors. You should always be masculine, yes, but your problem isn't that you're not emitting it. Your problem is that you're waiting for the girls to come to you instead of the other way around.

Stop flirting so much and searching for IOIs from easy broads. Pook says that a real man doesn't emphasize flirtation. He shows his interest by asking for a #, not by flirting. And don't just go for the ones who come onto you right off the bat, because chances are they're doing the same for every other halfway decent guy.

it makes perfect sense those sexy girls you want are extremly feminine the extremly feminine male is attracted to the extremly masculine male ie those bouncers psychos all the guys that are more in tune with their testosterone . Solution dont deny your **** say anythign you want to say do anythign you want to do dont be afraid of her thinking your a pervert or something notonly that do more action stuff thats what testosterone enables action thats whats makes you male
