Told I go "cold" when she talks about the ex

Question pretty much as per title. I've been trying very hard indeed to maintain the "I don't care" attitude when she talks about her previous boyfriends or, in the current case, goes to a party where he is also present. Obviously I've told her that this isn't acceptable to me, and that the only reason people see their ex's is because they need a fallback option. However, am I going the right way about it, because there is a part of me that sees this a looking a bit insecure/needy. I think I may have avoided it by informing her that if she keeps it up, I'm gone. Nevertheless, the question still stands.

Why haven't you asked her why she keeps bringing them up? Better yet whenever bring up your ex whenever she brings up hers. Just keep telling her that your ex swallowed and that she would find you other women to have a threesome.

I was talking about an ex while we were hanging out, and she was basically like "ok, we have to go, i gotta go"
