You learn something new every day. Here's what I learned.

Some background:

I've been feeling crappy lately. First it was me being constantly lethargic all of last week. A few days ago I became congested. Now I have allergies, cold, who knows? When we get sick we don't operate at maximum efficiency. It's a fact. My mindset has been at 50%, so has my confidence, my attitude, everything. I'm not at my best. My behavior was weird. I was sniffling all day in class, I had a runny nose, and I felt insecure because I kept wiping my nose with my arm. Bottom line, I felt crappy, anxious, and awkward.

My physical condition became a limiting belief. I literally felt like I couldn't normally talk to a girl or almost anyone for that matter when I felt like this.

After talking to a few new people later on, my mood improved. Gradually, I found happiness. My mental state got pumped up. I loosened up. My demeanor changed.

What I'm trying to say is even when you feel like crap, there is a way to feel better. You just have to try. You can't be controlled by limiting beliefs. A limiting belief can be anything. My situation has to do with my condition right now. It may be something else for you.

This may make sense to some of you. For those of you who understand, and maybe struggled with limiting beliefs in the past, just realize it's all in your head.

Even though I feel terrible right now, I realized that I can still control my mindset to a certain extent.

I'm sick, but it will pass. I'm going to make the best of this. It's not like I'm bedridden. I'll get up. I'll do things. I'll sweat it out. I don't have to be a lazy bum for the next few days just because I have a head cold. Seriously.

You learn something new every day. Let this be a lesson.

I can relate. I had some kind of head cold allergy thing going on last weekend. I had a weak mindset and was mildly happy. Since then I've felt burned out all week. I'm still happy but my mindset is weak still. It's pretty hard for me not to be happy, considering the life I have created. We're humans, we can't always be 100 percent DJs every second of the day. When I wake up for work at 4am, I'm not my usual happy conceded self. But, as I drive to work drinking a Kickstart, I start to wake up and become pumped about myself. By the time I pull up to work I'm already telling myself I'm the sh*t lol.
