Here goes, In the light of Roul's post and the one Jester made about the dying out of the DJ kind, and also in combination with already existing program by Master of the Universe I have a suggestion about improving this site.
Basically I have thought about an idea, about improving and expanding this source of knowledge. IT can be a systems with masters and apprentices, in which the masters, like they should, would teach their apprentices it is kind of like the Master of the Universe program only more universal and better.
So to personalize this thing each master would have two/three apprentices, where they would be given tasks to perform with proof of completeness. It will be completely voluntary, but help newbies get more structured help, and actually do things because of the assignments, and not simply sit on their ass feeling AFSshis.
So upon completion of these tasks if you will, and upon an exam, the AFC extermination as I would call it, the newbie becomes a master, and there fore knowledgeable. To keep their DJ skills intact there must be monthly creative assignments and so on to maintain their Master Status, preventing them from turning AFC again.
This system would benefit this existing structure immensely, because it would prevent the Masters from slacking their skills, create a hierarchy of followers, with the prosperous newbies becoming masters and altogether structuring and refining the frame work of this site.
This kind of approach would be much more personal then the Master of the Universe's program it would be able to help many more people. Since it is practically impossible for him to reply to each of his students steps, the program becomes less personal and there fore less effective then its potential.
I am willing to lead and take active role in creating a more rigid framework for this development. If the answer is no, I would like an explanation, because obviously I would be dumbfounded in my error in judgment of this site's philosophy.
