After reading alot of authors in the self development realm i have to agree there are few motivators for humans as a whole.
1) to help others
2) power
3) money (spend on experiences more meaningful)
4) Women
There are undoubtedly plenty of posts already stating how
women pretty much rule the dating world, can get anything they want
and rule the divorce world. A girl who is unempathic towards other feelings
could literally devour enough guys to sustain herself indefinetely in every area of "success"
Just a sidenote to the guys who say woman age like yogurt. If a woman
puts herself out there looks or no looks they will still get guys to come barge down their door ive seen it time and time again and these unnattractive women can ride around with mega successful men in lexus or w/e.
Going back to the topic of the post. Women are pretty much the most natural motivator to get things done. Guys will sacrifice so much to be able to get with a woman or just plain have sex with her. There isnt a motivator stronger then that. I dont understand how you can just swear off women they are the spice and variety of life and they make life more interesting and the randomness of a woman is intriguing at times.
The monks of eastern have to stay away from woman altogether, many cant even touch woman its forbidden. The temptation is always there even when they reach a level of development. Ghandi was said to have 2 women in his bed to practice self control and it was like that all the way to his death. Those are the only people i have researched that have successfully sworn off women but it makes things less interesting. Buddha died at a very young age in his 20's and spent his life begging for his food didnt work a day in his life.
Women are trouble alot of the times but i have found them to be ultra dynamic and interesting. I thoroughly enjoy my time with a woman but it is very hard to be dating multiple women at the same time because of their available options and tendency to jump ship easily.
So i understand not to make women your main focus but can a guy really have a thoroughly enjoyable happy meaningful life without the presence of a woman or the joys of dating and meeting women?
