"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Ok, this is coming from a former nice guy. Im not rugged or thuggish. nor gangsta but i aint a nice guy either. these are some tips that i am nice enough to give to yall nice guys.

1) teasing: you have to tease the girl. whether you're with her or not. Doing this hides you're feelings to a certain degree. it adds humor and spice. Guys usually hide their feelings and women usually act on their feelings. Don't over tease or insult too badly though. If you're too foward with your feelings and get too emotional about her without a lil teasing, then you are oficially a nice guy.

2) Challenge her: Even if you know you're wrong about something. debate with her just to see if she can back up what she said with research, facts etc. so she'll have something to prove to you. this shows that you can't be easily won over every time.

3) Never admit you're afraid: Don't admit to being afraid of anything. I actually told my first girlfriend that i was afraid of her. Woooo have i come a long way. I mean was i off my meds or something LOL.

4) If she aint your woman and you want her to be. don't settle for friendship. If she tries to use you as an emotional tampon cuz she know you like her. Tell her "look i will not be used as your emotional tampon".

Thats it, Be yourself and add the 4 elements in once in a while and you're on your way to being a "great guy" not nice or mean.
but in between.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Joey,

I like the way you put it. I think alot of us new people are having trouble with this idea of being bad.

I guess you are saying you are still a nice person, you just ACT bad occasionally to keep 'em on their toes, or even on their backs ;)

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Anyone know of a smoother yet not nice way of saying "look i will not be used as your emotional tampon" ?

All you gotta do is keep your distance and remember that girls don't like that crap so you might as well tell her your real intentions.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.
